The Resurrection of Pan-Arabism

The Egyptian revolution has resurrected a new type of pan-Arabism, based on social justice not empty slogans.

The Egyptian revolution, itself influenced by the Tunisian uprising, has resurrected a new sense of pan-Arabism based on the struggle for social justice and freedom. The overwhelming support for the Egyptian revolutionaries across the Arab world reflects a sense of unity in the rejection of tyrannical, or at least authoritarian, leaders, corruption and the rule of a small financial and political elite.

Arab protests in solidarity with the Egyptian people also suggest that there is a strong yearning for the revival of Egypt as a pan-Arab unifier and leader. Photographs of Gamal Abdel Nasser, the former Egyptian president, have been raised in Cairo and across Arab capitals by people who were not even alive when Nasser died in 1970. The scenes are reminiscent of those that swept Arab streets in the 1950s and 1960s.

But this is not an exact replica of the pan-Arab nationalism of those days. Then, pan-Arabism was a direct response to Western domination and the 1948 establishment of the state of Israel. Today, it is a reaction to the absence of democratic freedoms and the inequitable distribution of wealth across the Arab world.

We are now witnessing the emergence of a movement for democracy that transcends narrow nationalism or even pan-Arab nationalism and which embraces universal human values that echo from north to south and east to west.

This is not to say that there is no anti-imperialist element within the current movement. But the protests in Egypt and elsewhere promote a deeper understanding of human emancipation, which forms the real basis for freedom from both repression and foreign domination.

Unlike the pan-Arabism of the past, the new movement represents an intrinsic belief that it is freedom from fear and human dignity that enables people to build better societies and to create a future of hope and prosperity. The old "wisdom" of past revolutionaries that liberation from foreign domination precedes the struggle for democracy has fallen.

The revolutionaries of Egypt, and before them Tunisia, have exposed through deeds - not merely words - the leaders who are tyrants towards their own people, while humiliatingly subservient to foreign powers. They have shown the impotence of empty slogans that manipulate animosity towards Israel to justify a fake Arab unity, which in turn serves only to mask sustained oppression and the betrayal of Arab societies and the aspirations of the Palestinian people.

آمریکا: حکومت ایران از مردم خود ترسیده و حرفش درباره مصر توخالی است

رابرت گیبس، سخنگوی کاخ سفید روز جمعه و پس از کنار رفتن حسنی مبارک، رییس جمهوری مصر از قدرت گفت مقامات ایران کاملاً از اراده مردم خودشان ترسیده‌اند و آنها که تا چند روز پیش حرف‌های توخالی درباره اعتراض مردم مصر می‌زدند، حالا شبکه‌ها و اینترنت را قطع می‌کنند و فعالان سیاسی را به زندان می‌اندازند.

آقای گیبس در آخرین جلسه خود با خبرنگاران گفت: «اگر دولت و مقامات ایران به راستی از اعتراض مردم مصر خوشحال هستند، همان اجازه و حقوق را به مردم خود بدهند.»

وی افزود: «همین که مقارن با به نتیجه رسیدن اعتراض مردم مصر، مقامات ایرانی شبکه‌های ماهواره‌ای را قطع می‌کنند و دستگیری‌ها را افزایش می‌دهند یا می‌گویند جنبش سبز یک جسد است و یا تهدید می‌کنند، همین نشانه ترس آنها از مردم ایران است.»

موسوی: ریشه وقایع قاهره و تونس در حوادث سال گذشته تهران است

میرحسین موسوی، یکی از رهبران مخالفان دولت ایران با مقایسه اعتراضات انتخاباتی سال گذشته این کشور با وقایع جاری در مصر، گفت که اگر حکومت مصر "آرای مردم را نمی دزدید"، کار به شعار "اسقاط نظام" نمی کشید.

موسوی روز شنبه ۹ بهمن (۲۹ ژانویه) با انتشار یادداشتی در سایت کلمه، حرکت های اعتراضی هفته های اخیر در تونس، یمن و مصر را ادامه تظاهرات معترضان به نتایج انتخابات ایران در روزهای ۲۵، ۲۸ و ۳۰ خرداد ۱۳۸۸ در تهران دانست.

او نوشت: "برای کشف راز این پیوندها و مشابهت ها... کافی است که شیوه انتخابات اخیر مصر را با انتخابات های خود مقایسه کنیم و [به یاد آوریم که] رئیس شورای نگهبان از بی نیازی به آرای میلیون ها شهروند سبز سخن راند".

موسوی شیوه برخورد "نظام های در حال سقوط" منطقه با مخالفان خود را مشابه هم توصیف کرد و حمله به شبکه های اجتماعی، مطبوعات و فضای مجازی، قطع اس ام اس ها، تلفن ها و اینترنت و زندانی کردن معترضان را از جمله این شباهت ها دانست.

حکومت ایران هم در جریان وقایع پس از انتخابات سال گذشته این کشور، دقیقا از روش های مشابهی استفاده کرد و به نظر می رسد که تأکید آقای موسوی بر این روش ها به منظور نشان دادن این مشابهت بوده است.

او از نحوه بازتاب حوادث وقایع مصر در تریبون های رسمی در ایران انتقاد کرد و نوشت که "منافع پشت سر ایدئولوژی حاکم در کشور" اجازه دیده شدن واقعیت ها را نمی دهد.

موسوی نوشت: "خطیبان و تریبون های گوش به فرمان، به عملکرد مفسدانه و جبارانه فرعون مصر که با بازداشت ها، اعتراف گیری ها، پرونده سازی ها و غارت مردم از طریق باندها و اطرافیان، این شرایط انفجاری را در مصر ایجاد کرده اند، توجهی نشان نمی دهند".

او با اشاره تلویحی به رفتار حکومت ایران، هشدار داد که ادامه سیاست "غلبه به وسیله ایجاد خوف" می تواند در نهایت به ضد خود تبدیل شود و به بروز خشم عمومی بینجامد.

موسوی نوشت: "فراعنه معمولا زمانی صدای ملت را می شنوند که بسیار دیر شده است".

Mideast, North Africa in Turmoil

Tunisia- The 2010–2011 Tunisian revolution is an intensive campaign of civil resistance, consisting mainly of a series of street demonstrations that took place throughout Tunisia beginning in December 2010. The demonstrations were reported to have started over unemployment, food inflation, corruption, freedom of speech and poor living conditions. The protests were sparked by a self-immolation of Mohamed Bouazizi on December and led to the ousting of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali 28 days later on 14 January 2011, when he officially resigned after fleeing to Saudi Arabia, ending 23 years in power.

Egypt- The 2011 Egyptian revolution is a series of street demonstrations, marches, rallies, acts of civil disobedience, riots, labour strikes, and violent clashes that began in Egypt on 25 January 2011, a day selected to coincide with the National Police Day. The protests were largest in Cairo and Alexandria, with significant activities in other cities of Egypt. At times over a million people were protesting to demand the overthrow of the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, an end to corruption and police repression, and democratic reforms of the political system. The demonstrations and other actions in Egypt in this period were part of a campaign of civil resistance, a technique of struggle relying primarily on non-violent methods. On 11 February, Mubarak resigned from office as a result of determined popular protest.

Algeria- President Abdelaziz Bouteflika will lift a nearly 20-year-old state of emergency in the "very close future," the state news agency announced on February 1st. Abdelaziz Bouteflika imposed the emergency decree in a crackdown against Islamic political parties in 1992. The clampdown triggered an Islamist insurgency that left more than 100,000 dead, according to human rights groups. on February 12th, Tensions erupted in another restive North African nation as security forces in Algeria on Saturday clashed with anti-government protesters who chanted, "Change the power."

Jordan- On February 2011, the king of Jordan dismissed his government and appointed a new prime minister with orders to implement political reform. The dismissal follows several protests calling for change in Jordan -- protests that echo demonstrations that have swept across North Africa and the Middle East in the last few weeks.

Yamen- In Yemen, President Ali Abdullah Saleh, is in power since 1978. As Yemenis prepared for their own "Day of Rage" on 3 February, Ali Abdullah Saleh went for a pre-emptive strike and offered the opposition a number of significant concessions. He promised to step down in 2013 and has invited opposition groups to join a unity government. On February 12th, Yemeni police armed with sticks and daggers on Sunday beat back thousands of protesters marching through the capital in a third straight day of demonstrations calling for political reforms and the resignation of Abdullah Saleh.

Syria- By all accounts a police state, Syria has been ruled by President Bashar al-Assad for more than 10 years. Before him, his father, Hafez al-Assad ruled the country for almost three decades. After seeing unrest in the region, President Bashar al-Assad said he would push for political reforms in his own country because waiting for protests like those in Egypt and Tunisia might make it "too late to do any reform." A candlelight vigil in old Damascus for the Egyptian protesters was broken up by people in civilian clothing, and police nearby failed to intervene.

Iran- The government -- which Friday said the toppling of President Hosni Mubarak in Egypt "joyfully" coincided with the anniversary of Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution -- has rounded up activists after Iran's two leading opposition figures called for a rally Monday in support of the uprisings in North Africa and the Middle East.

سه مرجع تقليد، اعزام ورزشکاران زن به خارج را «حرام» اعلام کردند

آيت‌ الله صافی گلپايگانی، علوی ‌گرگانی و حسينی زنجانی، از مراجع تقلید ایران،در پاسخ به استفتاء یک خبرگزاری دولتی، اعزام ورزشکاران زن ايرانی به رقابت‌های برون مرزی را «مخالف عفاف» و حرام اعلام کردند.

پيش از اين نيز جمعی از روحانيون تندرو در جمهوری اسلامی از جمله حجت الاسلام علم الهدی امام جمعه مشهد و سيداحمد خاتمی امام جمعه تهران، در تريبون های نماز جمعه شديداً نسبت به اعزام ورزشکاران زن ايرانی به رقابت های برون مرزی اعتراض کرده بودند.

وقتی هما حسينی قايقران ايرانی به عنوان پرچمدار کاروان ورزش ايران در المپيک ۲۰۰۸ پکن برگزيده شد، علم الهدی در نماز جمعه مشهد اين انتخاب مسئولين ورزش ايران را «جنگ با ارزش ها» دانست و از آن به عنوان «آماده سازی مردم برای فرج امام زمان» ياد کرد.

سيد احمد خاتمی تا آنجا پیش رفت که حتی تماشای ورزش کشتی از صدا و سيمای جمهوری اسلامی را برای زنان ايرانی حرام اعلام کرد.

در همين راستا، حجت‌الاسلام سيدمحمد غروی، عضو شورای مرکزی جامعه مدرسين حوزه علميه قم نيز با انتقاد از صدا و سيما به خاطر پخش تصاوير مربوط به ورزش بانوان در رقابت های گوانجو گفته بود: «از مسئولان می ‌خواهم که در مورد حضور بانوان در مسابقات جهانی تجديدنظر کنند. بايد توجه داشت که مسابقات به خصوص جهانی آميخته با يکسری لوازم و ملزومات است که با ارزش‌های اسلامی ما سازگار نيست. از اين رو به صورت جدی از مسئولان ورزشی خواسته می شود که در مورد اين حضور يعنی حضور بانوان در مسابقات جهانی تجديدنظر کنند.»

دامنه انتقادات غروی، از سازمان تربيت بدنی تا سازمان صداوسيما را در بر گرفت.

او تاکيد کرد: «مسئولان بايد بدانند، پيامد راهی که در پيش گرفته ‌اند قابل کنترل نيست. شاهد آن نيز برخی از کارهايی است که در مسابقات صورت گرفت و در تلويزيون نيز مردم آن را مشاهده کردند و اين اقدامات با انديشه اسلامی سازگار نبود و از تلويزيون جمهوری اسلامی ايران اين انتظار نبود که برخی از تصاوير را نشان دهد و باعث خدشه‌دار شدن قلوب دين‌داران شود.»

اما واکنش اخير مراجع تقليد درباره اعزام ورزشکاران زن به رقابت های بين المللی که صريح و قاطع بوده است، در پاسخ به استفتای خبرگزاری ايسنا منتشر شده است.

آيت الله گلپايگانی نه تنها اعزام ها را «حرام» دانسته بلکه خواستار محاکمه مسئولينی شده است که هزينه های اين مسافرت ها را پرداخته اند.

حسينی زنجانی نيز تاکيد کرده است که «انجام ورزش بانوان در محيط سربسته و مختص بانوان ايرادی ندارد.»

اين خبرگزاری در سوال مشترک ارسالی به مراجع فوق، جويای ديدگاه ايشان درباره اعزام بانوان ورزشکار به رقابت‌های ورزشی برون‌مرزی شده بود. پاسخ مراجع تقليد نيز به تفکيک، در زير آمده است.

آيت‌ الله صافی‌گلپايگانی: «تشويق و اعزام زنان مسلمان به ميادين مسابقات خارجی با وضع لباس و پوشش ورزشکاران و حضور نامحرمان و اختلاط زن و مرد در مراحل مختلف، بر خلاف موازين شرعی و حرام است و کسانی که مخارج آن را از بيت‌المال مسلمين می‌پردازند ضامن‌اند و قاضی واجد شرايط بايد حقوق بيت‌المال را از آنان پس بگيرد.»

آيت‌ الله علوی ‌گرگانی: «اعزام زنان ورزشکار به رقابت‌های بين‌المللی را مخالف عفاف زن می‌دانيم و لذا جايز نمی‌دانيم.»

آيت ‌الله حسينی زنجانی: «انجام ورزش به وسيله بانوان در محيط مختص بانوان اشکالی ندارد ولی اعزام بانوان به مجامع مختلط و انجام ورزش در معرض ديد اجانب، در شان زن مسلمان نبوده و جايز نيست.»

پيش از اين، آیت الله ناصر مکارم شيرازی از ديگر مراجع تقليد در ايران، در پاسخ به اين پرسش گفته بود: «در صورتی که شرايط شرعيه از جمله مسائل مربوط به حجاب و عفاف کاملاً رعايت شود و اين کار پيامد منفی نداشته باشد، جايز است.»

Sun allergy

Sun allergy symptoms depend on the particular type of sun allergy you have.

Polymorphic light eruption (PMLE) symptoms usually start within minutes to several hours after exposure to sunlight. A reaction usually starts with itchy skin and tiny bumps (papules) that appear whitish or yellowish on a red background. Flat bumps (plaques) may develop. Inflamed blood vessels can cause your skin to become red and swollen. PMLE, sometimes called sun poisoning, may affect the neckline, the backs of the arms, the face and the hands. It's the most common type of sun allergy.

Actinic prurigo usually occurs in children and young adults. Symptoms can include red, raised patches of skin and itchy bumps that may extend onto skin that wasn't exposed to sunlight. Fluid filled bumps may form and crack open. Actinic prurigo often causes chapped and split lips (cheilitis), and can affect the cheeks, neck, ears, arms and hands. In some people, actinic prurigo leaves scars. Symptoms generally start in the summer months and improve by late autumn.

Chronic actinic dermatitis can cause thick patches of dry, itchy and inflamed skin on the face, scalp, back and sides of the neck, upper chest, and backs of the arms and hands. Large affected areas may have "islands" of exposed skin that aren't affected. In some cases, symptoms occur on the palms of the hands and bottoms of the feet.

Solar urticaria symptoms start within minutes of exposure to sunlight and can include hives, itching and blisters. Solar urticaria can affect both exposed areas and areas covered by clothes. It occurs most often in older adults. Symptoms usually improve within an hour after covering exposed skin.

Treatment depends on the particular type of sun allergy you have. It may include:

Corticosteroid creams. These creams are available over-the-counter and in stronger, prescription form.

Oral antihistamines. These medications block histamines, symptom-causing chemicals released during an allergic reaction. Your doctor may recommend you use over-the-counter antihistamine pills, or he or she may write you a prescription. Examples of over-the-counter antihistamines include loratadine (Claritin, Alavert) and cetirizine (Zyrtec).

Oral corticosteroids. For a severe allergic skin reaction, you may benefit from a short course of these powerful anti-inflammatory medications. In some cases, an oral corticosteroid such as prednisone is given prior to a period of sunlight exposure, such as before a summer vacation. Oral corticosteroids can cause serious side effects when used long term.

Other medications. In some cases, drugs usually used to treat other conditions are used to treat sun allergies. For example, the malaria medication hydroxychloroquine may ease symptoms of polymorphic light eruption and other sun allergies. In some cases, antibiotics — generally used to treat infections — are used for chronic actinic dermatitis.

Ultraviolet light therapy. This treatment is also called phototherapy. A special lamp is used to shine ultraviolet light on areas of your body that are often exposed to the sun. It's generally done a few times a week over a period of several weeks each spring. During the course of treatments, your doctor will gradually increase the dose of UV radiation. Your skin becomes accustomed to UV light, reducing symptoms caused by sun exposure. This treatment is generally available only at specialized clinics.

اگر من وجود دارم و اين قدر مهربان بودم که همه دين ها مي گويند چرا بيشتر تلفات تاريخ و جنگ ها در تاريخ با نام دين و انجام تکليف ديني و هدايت مردم و بردن مردم به بهشت صورت گرفته است ؟

اگر من خدا بودم چرا اين همه آدم کج و معوج به اسم من روي زمين خدايي مي کنند و کليد بهشت مي فروشند و يا دنيا را براي مخلوقات من (؟!) جهنم کرده اند ؟

خدايي که به عبادت محتاج باشد ، خدايي که قسم بخورد جهنمش را از نافرمانان پر مي کند ، خدايي که فقط محبان علي را به بهشت راه بدهد و بقيه پيامبرانش بشوند زرشک ، خدايي که مي گويد زمين آزمايشگاه است و آدم ها موش آزمايشگاهي و تمام آن چه که در زمين حرام کرده را در بهشت وعده مي دهد من نيستم.اصلا من نيستم.

برويد مغزتان را بکار ببريد و بيخود بي عرضگي هايتان را به اسم اين که من چيزي مي دانم که شما نمي دانيد نگذاريد.
اگر نمي توانيد از پس گردن کلفت هايتان بر بيائيد چرا پاي من را وسط مي کشيد ؟ نخير ؛ قرار نيست من در آن دنيا حساب لات و لوت هاي دنيا را برسم.

اگر عرضه داريد خودتان از خجالتشان در بيائيد و الکي خودتان را بچه مثبت هاي بي عرضه بهشت معرفي نکنيد.

يعني چي دست روي دست مي گذاريد و منتظران فلان و بهمان مي شويد.آقا جان قرار نيست کسي را بفرستم.مفهوم شد ؟

همه شماها چند ميلياردي سلول خاکستري در آن مغزهايتان داريد ، بکارش ببريد و بجاي تسبيح و استخاره انداختن ، از اين سلول ها استفاده کنيد تا فاسد نشود.

اگر در قدرت طلبي و فريبکاري روي مزرعه حيوانات را هم سفيد کرده ايد و به همه دنيا گند زده ايد چرا مي گوئيد قضا و قدر من است ؟ يعني اگه من خدا بودم اندازه مدير گوگل هم عرضه نداشتم يک دم و دستگاه درست و حسابي راه بندازم که هم کارمندش راضي باشد هم مصرف کننده اش ؟!

وضع دعا و نفرين هايتان هم از همه بدتر است !بهتان گفته باشم که 99/99 درصد اين دعاها
Spam است و اصلا درMail Box من ظاهر نمي شود (تازه اگر باشم !). آخر يعني چي ؛

CIA operative in Iran arrested for leaks

Ex-CIA agent is arrested for disclosing secret documents. Jeffrey Sterling worked for the U.S. intelligence agency between 1993 and 2002

The American judicial authorities announced on Thursday the arrest of a former CIA agent accused of leaking secret documents illegally. Jeffrey Alexander Sterling, 43, will answer for ten counts related to illegal gathering and dissemination of information on national defense, as well as mail fraud and obstruction of justice, the Justice Department said in a statement.

Sterling was arrested in St. Louis (Missouri) and forced to appear before Federal Judge, Terry Adelman, the statement added. According to the indictment presented by a grand jury investigation on December 22 and released on Thursday, Sterling worked for the CIA from May 1993 through January 2002.

Between November 1998 and May 2000, the former agent was assigned to a clandestine program to spy on the military capabilities of certain countries, which were not specified by the Department of Justice. According to the federal agency, Sterling, who is a lawyer, signed several agreements related to security and intelligence reports in which he committed himself to "never divulge classified information to unauthorized persons."

Although authorities have not provided details about the illegal leak, Sterling is alleged to have transferred documents to James Risen, a journalist from The New York Times whose book detailed the CIA's espionage operations in Iran.

Sterling represented the CIA in Iran and was put in charge of making contact with Iranian spies who had deserted and gone to the U.S. side. If convicted of each of the ten felony counts, Sterling could face up to 120 years in prison and having to pay a fine of up to $250,000 on each count, the statement indicated.

Commenting on the matter, the Tehran Times says that Risen, in his book, tells about an operation codenamed "Merlin" an attempt by the United States to provide Iran with flawed blueprints for key nuclear components through a Russian nuclear scientist. The attempt failed on all points.

The United States, as the only country to have used nuclear weapons on another state, opposes Iran's nuclear program, claiming without any evidence that it harbors a secret military aspect. Iran has the right as a signatory to the NPT to use nuclear power for peaceful purposes, another failure of U.S. "diplomacy" as shown by WikiLeaks.

Iran produces 40 kg of 20% enriched uranium

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) and acting Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi announced Saturday that the country has so far produced almost 40 kg of 20 percent enriched uranium to supply fuel to the Tehran research reactor, local semi-official Fars news agency reported.

"We have produced about 40 kg of 20 percent (enriched) uranium and we hope to witness the injection of the first batch of Iran- made 20 percent fuel to the Tehran research reactor soon," Fars quoted Salehi as saying.

Salehi also said that Tehran is preparing to resume talks with the Vienna Group (the US, Russia, France and the International Atomic Energy Agency) on the swap of nuclear fuel for the Tehran research reactor.

The more they (the Vienna Group) delay in holding a new round of negotiations with Iran, "the more progress we make in fuel production and after a while the issue of fuel swap will become meaningless," Salehi said.

Stressing that Iran is one of the few countries capable of producing fuel rods and plates to be used for peaceful purposes, Salehi said Iran's progress in this field was a result of the West 's lack of cooperation and sanctions.

"Actually the West's attitude made us reach the point," he said.

Salehi announced in June that Iran is potentially capable of producing five kilograms of 20 percent enriched uranium per month. In October, he said Iran had produced 30 kg of 20 percent enriched uranium.

In the face of West's denial to provide Iran with the 20 percent enriched uranium for Tehran's research reactor, the Iranian officials have said that they will press on with enriching uranium to 20 percent purity until its nuclear fuel needs are met.

In February, Iran stepped up its uranium enrichment level to 20 percent - still much lower than the around 90 percent bomb grade but a significant development from its under-five-percent purification.

On May 17, Iranian, Brazilian and Turkish officials signed a nuclear fuel swap agreement that Iran would send some 1,200 kg of its 3.5 percent enriched uranium to Turkey in exchange for a total 120 kg of 20 percent enriched fuel.

Western countries are pushing for multi-dimensional sanctions against Iran over its persistence on pursuing its sensitive nuclear program. Tehran insists that its nuclear program is " peaceful" and aims at energy production for civilian use.

Kharrazi: Iran ready if Israel hits our nuclear facilities

Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi considers Israel a threat to his nation's nuclear facilities.

"When there is a threat, you have to take it into consideration and be prepared to react. We are prepared," Kharrazi told Newsweek in an interview.

When asked if Iran will use its Shihab missiles, Kharrazi replied: "There are capabilities that we will use. Shihab missiles are well developed and made in Iran, and we are proud of having them."

The magazine also asked Kharrazi whether Iran supports the two-state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He replied that if that is what the Palestinians decide they want, then it will not upset Iran. However, he added, "we are for a one-state solution."

Kharrazi also claimed that Iran's nuclear enrichment program "is solely for producing fuel needed in our power plants. It is not for producing nuclear weapons."

محکومیت نسرین ستوده به ۱۱ سال زندان و احضار همسرش به دادسرای اوین

رضا خندان، همسر نسرين ستوده، وکیل دادگستری، در گفت‌وگو با رادیو فردا اعلام کرد که همسرش در دادگاه بدوی به ۱۱ سال حبس تعزیری و ۲۰ سال محرومیت از وکالت و ۲۰ سال ممنوع‌الخروجی از کشور محکوم شده و خود وی نیز به دادسرای انقلاب زندان اوین احضار شده است.

به گفته رضا خندان، این حکم روز یکشنبه به وکیل نسرین ستوده ابلاغ شده است. رضا خندان می‌گوید که وکلای پرونده نسرین ستوده به این حکم اعتراض خواهند کرد.

رضا خندان همچنین گفت که غیر از جلسه دادگاه، با همسرش ملاقات حضوری نداشته است و فرزندان وی نیز دو ماه بعد از بازداشت تنها یک بار ملاقات حضوری داشتند و در دوازده روز پیش نیز یک بار به مدت پنج دقیقه موفق به ملاقات حضوری با مادرشان شدند.
ببه گفته رضا خندان از آنجا که ملاقات کابینی تأثیر بسیار بدی روی فرزندان می‌گذارد، وی ترجیح می‌دهد فرزندانش ملاقات کابینی با مادرشان نداشته باشند.

همسر نسرین ستوده همچنین گفت خودِ وی نیز ، روز شنبه به دادسرای انقلاب دادگاه اوین احضار شده است؛ وی درباره علت احضار خود ابراز بی‌اطلاعی کرد.

نسرین ستوده که وکالت شماری از فعالان سیاسی و مدنی نظیر شیرین عبادی، حقوقدان، عیسی سحرخیز، روزنامه‌نگار و حشمت‌الله طبرزدی، رهبر سازمان توقیف شده جبهه دموکراتیک ایران را بر عهده دارد، روز سیزدهم شهریور ماه و پس از آن که برای پاسخ به احضاریه دادگاه به دادسرای اوین مراجعه کرده بود، بازداشت شد.

این وکیل دادگستری در مهرماه امسال نیز در اعتراض به بازداشت خود برای مدتی دست به اعتصاب غذا زده بود.

تا کنون سازمان‌های حقوق بشری بسیاری نظیر عفو بین‌الملل، دیده‌بان حقوق بشر،‌ گزارشگران بدون مرز و همچنین شخصیت‌های سیاسی و مدنی نظیر واسلاو هاول، رئیس جمهور پیشین جمهوری چک، شیرین عبادی، حقوقدان و زهرا رهنورد، همسر میر حسین موسوی، بازداشت خانم ستوده را محکوم کرده و خواستار آزادی فوری وی شده‌اند.

در حال حاضر مشكل بسیاری از جوانان، مشكلات جنسی است مخصوصا در جوانان 18 سال به بالا و بعضا متاسفانه امكان ازدواج برای آنان فراهم نیست، راه حل آن چیست؟

جواب:
برای كسی كه به بلوغ جنسی رسیده و امكان ازدواج نداشته باشد چند راه كار وجود دارد كه خود را در فضای گناه قرار ندهد.

حتی المقدور با توجه به وضعیت جسمانی خود، هفته ای دو روز (دوشنبه و پنج شنبه) روزه بگیرد، اگر برای او سخت است ماهی سه روز(پنج شنبه اول و آخرماه و چهارشنبه وسط ماه) را روزه بگیرد كه فقهاء بزرگوار در رساله های عملیه خود به آن توصیه فرموده اند. در هر حال پرخوری نكند،قبل از سیرشدن از طعام دست بكشد وتا گرسنه نشود غذا تناول نكند.

- از خوردن غذای معطر، متنوع، آجیل و... پرهیز كند.

- لباس چسبان نپوشد و هرگز لخت و عریان نشود، حتی در حمام كه كراهت دارد. یعنی عورت در حمام پوشیده باشد بهتر است.

- از دیدن عكس های مبتذل و غیر محارم و به ویژه جنس مخالف پرهیز كند.

- از گفتن و یا شنیدن جوك و فكاهی های جنسی حذر كند.

- با افراد غیر مجرد و یا مجردی كه در این زمینه صحبت می كنند نشست و برخاست نكند.

- از اختلاط با زنان و یا مجالسی كه مرد و زن بی موالات هستند اجتناب كند.

- هرگز بی كار نباشد و به اشتغال بپردازد.« إِنَّ اللهَ یُبغِضُ الشّابّ ُ الفارِق» خداوند ازجوان بی كار به غضب می آید.

- به ورزش هایی كه موجب عرق ریزی می شود بپردازد، مانند: كوه نوردی، دوو میدانی، بسكتبال و

- در مجالس توسل و توجه به اهل بیت علیهم السلام شركت كرده و به زیارت حرم های شریف ایشان برود.

- با توجه بیشتر و مراقبه، نماز اول وقت اقامه كن.

حضور یک کشتی‌گیر مدال‌آور دیگر ایران در مسابقات کشوری آذربایجان

پس از سامان طهماسبی فرنگی‌کار تیم ملی ایران که با تابعیت جمهوری آذربایجان در مسابقات جهانی ۲۰۱۰ مسکو شرکت کرد، محمدرضا آذرشكيب نیز با شرکت در مسابقات كشتی آزاد قهرمانی كشور آذربايجان، موفق به کسب رتبه اول شد.

کوچ قهرمانان کشتی ایران به کشورهای مختلف در شرایطی صورت می‌پذیرد که پیش از این، هرگز سابقه نداشت که قهرمانان رده اول کشتی ایران به خارج از کشور مهاجرت کنند و خروج آنها از ایران، عمدتاً پس از پایان دوران قهرمانی اتفاق می‌افتاد.

با این حال یکی از مسئولین فدراسیون کشتی ایران که نمی‌خواست نامش فاش شود، در این باره به رادیو فردا گفت که برخی دیگر از چهره‌های صاحب نام ورزش ملی ایران، برای حضور در ترکیب تیم ملی جمهوری آذربایجان اعلام آمادگی کرده‌اند.

پیش از این و طی سه ماه گذشته، محمدحسین ابراهیمی در شمشیربازی، احسان رجبی و وحید سرلک در جودو نیز با حضور در کشورهای فرانسه، امریکا و آلمان، از بازگشت به ایران خودداری کرده بودند.

محمدرضا آذرشكيب دارنده دو مدال نقره جوانان جهان در وزن ۱۲۰ كيلوگرم است که همواره نسبت به بی‌توجهی مربیان تیم ملی گله مند بوده است. او بارها در مصاحبه‌های مختلف، نسبت به این که تحت هر شرایطی از فردین معصومی در ترکیب تیم ملی استفاده می‌شود ابراز نارضایتی کرده بود.

پس از مصاحبه اخیر فردین معصومی ۳۳ ساله مبنی بر اینکه شاید پس از المپیک ۲۰۱۲ لندن هم از دنیای قهرمانی خداحافظی نکنم، آذرشکیب از ایران خارج شده و در رقابت‌های داخلی جمهوری آذربایجان کشتی گرفته است.

او در این رقابت‌ها بالاتر از دیگر خارجی‌های مقیم آذربایجان یعنی آلکسیس رودریگز کوبایی و علی عیسایف روسی روی سکوی نخست ایستاده است. رودریگز ۳۲ ساله مدتی قبل از المپیک ۲۰۰۸ لندن، در تورنمنت بین‌المللی مادرید از اردوی کوبا فرار کرد و دیگر به کشورش باز نگشت.

آذرشکیب که در کرج زندگی می‌کند، ۱۰ سال جوان‌تر از فردین معصومی صاحب دوبنده تیم ملی ایران در این وزن است.

بر اساس قوانين فيلا، آذرشکیب از لحظه تغییر تابعیت یا اخذ تابعیت دوگانه، تا دو سال نمی‌تواند برای کشور جدیدش کشتی بگیرد. اما حضور او در المپیک ۲۰۱۲ لندن بلامانع خواهد بود.

نکته تأمل برانگیز رقابت‌های داخلی جمهوری آذربایجان، حضور دو داور ایرانی در محل رقابت‌ها بود که یکی از آنها علی‌اکبر طهماسبی رئیس کمیته داوران فدراسیون کشتی ایران است. این در حالی است که همزمان، رقابت‌های قهرمانی کشور ایران در حال برگزاری بود و استان‌های مختلف نسبت به غیبت طهماسبی معترض بودند.

بهمن طالبی دیگر ديگر داور ايرانی حاضر در این مسابقات، پیش از این گفته بود: «من مترجم سامان طهماسبی بودم و به هیچ وجه قرار نیست او تغییر تابعیت بدهد.» اما مدتی بعد، طهماسبی با دوبنده جمهوری آذربایجان در مسابقات جهانی مسکو شرکت کرد.

What are Home Remedies for Muscle Cramps?

Muscle cramps occur most often in the legs, arms and back. They happen due to muscle overuse or strain, injury or dehydration, or after a prolonged period of inactivity, such as sitting in the same position for too long. If you suffer from muscle cramps, here are a few self-care methods that you can apply at home:

1. Gentle massages. Rub the tightened knots in your cramped muscles slowly and gently in the natural direction of the muscles. This relieves the contracted muscles by improving blood circulation in the affected area.

2. Hot showers. Take a hot shower or a warm bath. Let the hot water flow longer over the cramped areas. Make sure the water temperature is as hot as you can bear, as this helps to relax the muscles.

3. Stretching. For muscle cramps in your calf, stretch your leg with toes pointing upwards and towards the head. Hold this position for 30 seconds. This also eases cramps in the back of the thighs. For muscle cramps in your front thigh, pull your foot on the affected side towards your buttocks and hold for 30 seconds. Plan a good stretching regimen and follow it regularly to prevent future muscle cramps.

4. Cold or heat treatment. Rub an ice pack over the cramped area for ten minutes or until it turns red, an indication that the blood cells are heating the muscles. Alternatively, you can use a heating pad to relax and stimulate blood circulation to the muscles.

5. Healthy diet. If you have muscle cramps often, your body may be lacking certain minerals such as calcium and potassium. Consume high-calcium foods like skim milk and yoghurt. Additionally, include potatoes and bananas in your diet to increase your potassium levels. Consult your doctor or nutritionist for advice on a balanced diet plan.

6. Hydration. Dehydration is a common cause of muscle cramps. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to continuously replenish lost fluids.

7. Folk remedies. Chamomile tea contains glycine, an amino acid that relaxes the muscles. Drink five cups (1.2 liters) daily for two weeks to relieve muscle cramps. Honey can prevent recurring foot and leg cramps during the night. Regularly take two teaspoons (10 ml) of honey with meals.

Mustard and pickle juice have acetic acid, which helps produce acetylcholine, a stimulant for your leg muscles. Take a spoonful (15 ml) of mustard or a few ounces (grams) of pickle juice to prevent leg cramps. Apple cider vinegar is rich in potassium. Mix one teaspoon (5 ml) of honey and two teaspoons (10 ml) of vinegar in a glass of warm water and drink this mixture.

به گزارش عصرایران به نقل از العربیه، دکتر عزت عطیه ، رئیس بخش حدیث الازهر ، فتوا داده است اگر دو همکار (یک زن و یک مرد) در یک اتاق که درب آن توسط فردی جز آنها باز نمی شود ، کار می کنند ،بخواهند بین آنها محرمیت ایجاد شود ، زن می تواند پنج بار از شیر خود به همکار مرد خود بدهد و بدین ترتیب آنها با هم محرم و حضورشان در یک اتاق ، شرعی می شود .
براساس این فتوای عجیب ، در صورتی که این عمل انجام شود ، زن می تواند چهره و موهای خود را به مردی که شیرش را خورده است ، بنمایاند .

وی البته این را هم گفته است که چنین محرمیتی باید به صورت رسمی و کتبی ثبت شود.
بر اساس این فتوا ، کسانی که با این روش محرم می شوند ، می توانند با یکدیگر ازدواج کنند ولی تا قبل از عقد متعارف شرعی ، حق داشتن روابط زناشویی را نخواهند داشت .
در واکنش به این فتوا ، اعضای فراکسیون اخوان المسلمین در پارلمان مصر ، با اعلام نگرانی خود از طرح این موضوع ، خواستار اصلاح فتوا از سوی الازهر شدند .

تعدادی از این نمایندگان فتوای الازهر را باعث رواج فساد در جامعه خواندند و اعلام داشتند که چنین فتوایی مخالف اجماع علمای اسلام است و باید پس گرفته شود.

WikiLeaks Shine Light Into Old Secrets
Traditionally, most diplomatic cables remain secret for decades, providing fodder for historians only when the participants are long retired or dead. The State Department’s unclassified history series, entitled “Foreign Relations of the United States,” has reached only the year 1972.

While an overwhelming majority of the quarter-million cables provided to The Times are from the post-9/11 era, several hundred date from 1966 to the 1990s. Some show diplomats struggling to make sense of major events whose future course they could not guess.

In a 1979 cable to Washington, Bruce Laingen, an American diplomat in Teheran, mused with a knowing tone about the Iranian revolution that had just occurred: “Perhaps the single dominant aspect of the Persian psyche is an overriding egoism,” Mr. Laingen wrote, offering tips on exploiting this psyche in negotiations with the new government. Less than three months later, Mr. Laingen and his colleagues would be taken hostage by radical Iranian students, hurling the Carter administration into crisis and, perhaps, demonstrating the hazards of diplomatic hubris.

Wikileaks and Iran
U.S. diplomatic cables released by WikiLeaks show Iran's hard-line policies have left it without "a single ally" among neighboring countries, Mir Hossein Mousavi said Sunday in a direct challenge to Tehran's official view that Washington seeks to poison relations in the region.

Iran claims the cables are a ploy by Washington to damage Iran's image and possibly try to mobilize support for a military strike — positions that authorities have aggressively pressed in the state media while trying to silence other viewpoints.

But U.S.-allied Gulf Arab leaders have made no attempts to backtrack from the statements in the cables. Last week, at a summit in Abu Dhabi, they sharply warned Iran to stay out of their affairs and rejected "force or the threat to use it.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani says the United States should be held accountable for Wikileaks publications.

Iran's foreign minister, Manouchehr Mottaki, told a security summit in Bahrain that Iran would never threaten Muslim neighbors. Authorities, meanwhile, have pressured Iranian newspapers to closely follow the state line on the WikiLeaks releases.

In a news conference, he said U.S. diplomacy is mixed with "some non-diplomatic activities, including espionage." He said the U.S. should explain the actions of its diplomats who are mentioned in the website publications. He also said other countries should be held accountable, but did not specify the countries.

Deputy head of Iran's Armed Forces Joint Chiefs of Staff, Masoud Jazayeri, said the leaks are preparations for "hostile U.S. actions" against Iran in the future.

In November, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton condemned the WikiLeaks release of more than a quarter-million sensitive U.S. diplomatic cables. She said the U.S. was taking aggressive steps to hold responsible those who had stolen the information.

Wikileaks and Afghanistan
In a more recent cable there was suspicion of corruption in the Afghan government: When Afghanistan’s vice president visited the United Arab Emirates last year, local authorities working with the Drug Enforcement Administration discovered that he was carrying $52 million in cash. With wry understatement, a cable from the American Embassy in Kabul called the money “a significant amount” that the official, Ahmed Zia Massoud, “was ultimately allowed to keep without revealing the money’s origin or destination.” (Mr. Massoud denies taking any money out of Afghanistan.)

Iran's FM dismissed by Ahmadinejad

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki was dismissed by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday, the presidential web site reported. Mottaki was replaced by head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali-Akbar Salehi, who is also Iran's vice president. Salehi was appointed temporarily in charge of the Foreign Ministry who needs to receive the confidential vote in case he is introduced by Iran's president to the parliament.

منوچهر متکی از سمت وزارت امور خارجه ایران برکنار شد

پایگاه اطلاع رسانی رییس جمهوری ایران روز دوشنبه اعلام کرد که منوچهر متکی، وزیر امور خارجه، از سمت خود برکنار شده و علی اکبر صالحی به عنوان سرپرست موقت وزارت امور خارجه منصوب شده است.
محمود احمدی نژاد، رییس جمهور ایران، در نامه‌ای خطاب به منوچهر متکی از «زحمات و خدمات» وی در دوران تصدی مسئولیت وزارت امور خارجه قدردانی کرده است.
وی در حکم دیگری، علی اکبر صالحی، رییس سازمان انرژی اتمی را به عنوان سرپرست وزارت امور خارجه ایران منصوب کرده است.
برکناری متکی از سمت خود در حالی صورت می گیرد که به گفته خبرگزاری مهر، وی هم اکنون به منظور ابلاغ پیام محمود احمدی‌نژاد به رییس جمهور سنگال در این کشور به سر می‌برد.
این برکناری نخستین تغییر در دولت دهم به شمار می‌رود که در نتیجه انتخابات جنجالی سال گذشته روی کار آمد.

عضو تیم ملی جودوی ایران خبر پناهندگی اش به آلمان را تایید کرد

وحيد سرلک، عضو تيم ملی جودو ایران با تایید خبر پناهندگی اش به آلمان گفت: «احسان رجبی ملی پوش سنگين وزن جودو نيز همين وضعيت را دارد و به زودی برای تيم ملی آمريکا مبارزه خواهد کرد.»

وحيد سرلک، ملی پوش سبک وزن جودوی ايران، در مسابقات جهانی ۲۰۰۹ هلند که همه اعضای تيم ايران از دور مسابقات حذف شدند، رتبه پنجم را نصيب خود کرد تا موفق ترين عضو تيم باشد.

در تعطيلات نوروزی سال ۱۳۸۹، فدراسيون جودو اعلام کرد با توجه به نمايش عالی سرلک در هلند، او با انعقاد قرارداد به باشگاه المپيک روتردام پيوسته است. در آن مقطع گفته شد که سرلک به اتفاق ون تيچلت قهرمان بلژيکی جهان، اين تيم را در فصل جاری يوروليگ همراهی خواهند کرد.

سرلک مدتی بعد به ايران برگشت تا مجدداً برای حضور در ليگ هلند، به اين کشور برگردد اما اين بار، رواديد هلند برای او صادر نشد. مدتی بعد، سرلک به آلمان رفت. اما اين بار، ديگر بازگشتی در کار نبود.

فدراسيون جودو اعلام کرد او مثل يک سرباز، هميشه در خدمت تيم ملی است و هرگاه به او نياز داشته باشيم به ايران خواهد آمد. ارديبهشت ماه سال جاری، مسابقات گزينشی المپيک در تونس برگزار می شد اما سرلک به ايران نيامد.

در ماه خرداد، برای مسابقات گزينشی المپيک در اسپانيا از او دعوت شد اما وی باز هم از بازگشت به ايران خود داری کرد. تيرماه در مسابقات جايزه بزرگ روسيه نيز اين جودوکا، دعوت مربيان تيم ملی را بدون پاسخ گذاشت.

شهريورماه نيز در اردوی تيم ملی در فرانسه و سپس مسابقات جهانی در توکيو، باز هم جای خالی سرلک در تيم ملی محسوس بود.

این در حالی بود که در پی هر غيبت این جودوکار ایرانی، فدراسيون اعلام می کرد او در مسابقات بعدی به ايران برمی گردد و تيم ملی را همراهی می کند.

رییس فدراسيون نيز تاکيد کرد که در بازی های آسيايی گوانگجو، سرلک عضو تيم همواره ناموفق جودوی ايران خواهد بود. اما در گوانگجو نيز سرلک حاضر نبود تا از ناکامی های جودوی ايران بکاهد.

خبرگزاری مهر، گفت و گويی با وحيد سرلک انجام داده است. او می گويد: «سال ۲۰۰۵ با وعده مسئولان فدراسيون، برای جلوگيری از محروميت فدراسيون جودو، مصلحتی باختم تا دور بعد به نماينده اسرائيل برخورد نکنم. چرا که اگر من با اسرائيلی بازی نمی کردم فدراسيون محروم می شد. در حالی که می توانستم به مدال برنز برسم. اما وقتی به ايران برگشتم همه قول های خانه و ماشين فراموش شد.»

سرلک در ادامه گفته است: «زمانی که تيم ملی نتيجه می گرفت نمی دانم چه اتفاقی می افتاد که فقط وضع مالی رییس فدراسيون و سرمربی تيم بهتر می شد. ما چند ماه به چند ماه حقوق نمی گرفتيم ولی سرمربی تيم ملی، ماشين مدل بالا و جديد می خريد.»

او همچنين مدعی شد که سرمربی تيم ملی جودو برای دعوت بازيکنان و حمايت در تيم ملی از آن ها پول می گيرد.

جودوکای پناهنده شده به آلمان می گويد: «از سياست های غلط فدراسيون خسته شدم و ديگر به ايران بازنخواهم گشت. درخواست پناهندگی خود را داده ام از اين پس برای تيم ملی آلمان بازی خواهم کرد. يک ايرانی هستم و به ايرانی بودن خود افتخار می کنم ولی آلمان مرا برای خودم می خواهد نه چاپلوسی.»

Ahmadinejad will not receive his Russian made S-300 defense system

Iran will file a claim in the court against Russia if it does not fulfill the contract for the supply of anti-aircraft missile system S-300. Moscow has been warned by the head of Iran's parliamentary committee on National Security and Foreign Policy Alaeddin Borondzherdi. The contract for the supply to the Islamic Republic of five battalions of S-300PMU-1 in the amount of $800 million was signed back at the end of 2007.
However, Russia has now acknowledged that this contract cannot be executed because of UN sanctions imposed on Iran on June 9, 2010. What can Russia expect for failure of this contract? According to the existing practice, the party at fault is to pay 10 percent of the transaction value to the customer. In this case, the maximum that Russia could lose is $80 million.

The amount is clearly small. Besides, its receipt is questionable. As stated on September 27 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, this contract is subject to the sanctions imposed on Tehran by the UN Security Council in June. In his opinion, this is the case of force majeure, as specified in such contracts.

However, in the long term, supply disruption could lead to the loss of the important Iranian market by Russia, which may be taken over by foreign competitors like China. Ivan Konovalov, a military expert, drew the attention to this fact in an interview with Pravda.

However, the fact that Russia has refused to supply weapons can be largely blamed on the Iranian leadership, which has repeatedly voiced provocative statements on this topic. We cannot rule out that the purpose of such statements was to embroil Russia with other countries, including the West."

However, Tehran believes that Russia is to blame. Refusing to perform the contract, Russia has undermined the confidence of the Islamic Republic. This was stated by Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi. According to the Iranian minister, such decision of Moscow indicates that Russia cannot be independent in solving simple problems. "This is a great shame for them (Russia). Thus, they showed that they cannot be independent in solving one simple problem. Their (Russia's) actions have proved that they cannot be trusted. Although we knew it."

According to Ahmad Vahidi, "they think that if. . . S-300 will not be provided to us, something will happen. For us, it does not matter. Many of our experts do not approve of S-300 systems." And, as loudly declared by Vahidi, Iran itself is in a position to create such a system.

Is the Iranian side bluffing? Previously media released information that Iran has already acquired S-300 units, allegedly obtained from Russia, Belarus or Croatia. Someone even published pictures of S-300 in Iran, allegedly shot by Israeli spy satellite.

These rumors also were heavily fueled by Iranian news agency Fars that reported that the Islamic Republic had such weapons. However, there are more compelling facts that prove this theory. In April of 2010, at a military parade in Tehran, Iran has demonstrated its S-300. According to the Iranian military, they are "analogue of the Russian S-300, developed by local engineers."

However, the experts interviewed by Pravda do not believe that Iran has managed to establish S-300 similar to the Russian version. "In order to produce a similar system, Iran will need another 20 - 30 years. It regularly reports about development of the new models of weapons, but in reality it is usually only the remakes of old designs," said Ivan Konovalov.

Nuclear talks could happen in Turkey

Manouchehr Mottaki gave Tehran's most positive sign so far that it is willing to resume the negotiations which stalled more than a year ago, leading to tightened international sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

The P5+1 group - the permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany - had proposed holding talks with Iran over its nuclear program on November 15-17 in Vienna, an approach welcomed by Iran but never formally agreed to.

"Consultations are under way, they are on the right track," Mottaki told a news conference.

"We are hopeful that the time and the agenda and content of the talks will soon be agreed upon by both parties and that both parties will start the talks as soon as possible."

As an alternative venue to Vienna, the home of the UN nuclear agency, he suggested neighbour Turkey.

"We have told our Turkish friends that we are in agreement with regard to holding these talks in Turkey," he said.

As the November 15 date approached, Iran has sent mixed signals about the talks. Last week, a close aide to Ahmadinejad said even if Iran did agree to the talks it would not negotiate about its nuclear program - the central issue for the P5+1 group.

Ahmadinejad has also asked the P5+1 countries parties to declare their opinion on Israel's alleged nuclear arsenal. Israel says a nuclear-armed Iran would threaten its very existence and does not rule out striking Iran militarily to stop that happening.

Ahmadinejad, Morales team up for a football win

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Evo Morales have long been on the same side politically. Now the presidents of Iran and Bolivia — both harsh critics of the United States — have literally teamed up, playing a friendly game of five-a-side soccer with professional players during Morales's state visit to Tehran.

State-run television on Wednesday showed Ahmadinejad scoring off a corner pass from Morales. Another shot, after a nifty one-two-one manoeuvre with the Bolivian, was blocked by the goalkeeper . The game ended 4-4 after regular time and the presidents went on to win 8-6 after a penalty shoot-out .

The contest appeared to be good-natured and there was no repeat of an incident earlier this month when Morales kneed a rival player in the groin after a heavy tackle — sending him falling to the ground in agony — at a game in La Paz.

A week after his ally, Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, visited Tehran, Morales's trip added support for Iran which is coping with tightened sanctions imposed by countries that fear the Islamic Republic is seeking nuclear weapons, a charge it denies. Tehran on Tuesday loaded fuel into the core of its main nuclear plant in Busheshr.

Like Chavez, Morales often calls the United States "the empire" . Iranian politicians often refer to America — which cut ties after the 1979 Islamic revolution and the Tehran embassy hostage crisis — as the "great Satan" . Washington has led the push for international sanctions against Iran.

اعلام آمادگی دولت برای اجرای هدفمندی یارانه ها

احتمال آغاز رسمی اجرای هدفمندی یارانه‌ها با محوریت اصلاح قیمت ها در هفته پایانی آبان ماه جاری قوت گرفت.
خبرگزاری مهر بعد از ظهر روز جمعه ۱۴ آبان ماه ضمن اعلام این خبر، به پرداخت یارانه نقدی نیز اشاره کرد.
به گزارش این منبع براساس برنامه ریزی های انجام شده، فاز دوم یارانه نقدی اواخر دی ماه امسال به حساب شهرندان واریز خواهد شد تا پرونده یارانه نقدی در سال جاری بسته شود.
این خبرگزاری از احتمال تغییر مبلغ یارانه نقدی ماهانه هر ایرانی در سال ۱۳۹۰ خبر می دهد، هر چند رقمی را ارائه نکرده است.
همین منبع براساس داده های دولتی یاد آور شده است، که تنها چند ساعت مانده به آغاز رسمی اصلاح قیمت ها، دستور برداشت یارانه نقدی از حساب ها صادر خواهد شد.
براساس اعلام مسولان دولتی در ایران که قیمت های هفت حامل انرژی (بنزین، گازوئیل، نفت سفید، نفت کوره، گاز مایع، گاز طبیعی و برق) به صورت هم زمان تغییر خواهد یافت.
در همین حال، صادق محصولی وزیر رفاه و امور اجتماعی، بامداد روز جمعه ۱۴ آبان ماه در گفت و گو با خبرنگار اجتماعی خبرگزاری دانشجویان ایران (ایسنا) با اشاره به اين كه ارائه اطلاعات به مردم پيش از جمع‌آوری آن ها، ممكن است سبب تشويش اذهان عمومی شود، گفت، «با اين وجود هر زمان كه نياز به اطلاع رسانی بوده، مسوولان در اين زمينه كوتاهی نكرده‌اند.»
البته وزیر رفاه و امور اجتماعی در ادامه با اذعان به اين كه اطلاع رسانی صورت گرفته در زمينه اجرای قانون هدفمند كردن يارانه‌ها آن گونه كه بايد ايده آل نبوده است، گفت، «اطلاع رسانی در اين زمينه می ‌توانست بسيار بهتر صورت گيرد.»
وزیر رفاه و امور اجتماعی در حالی این سخنان را بیان می کند، که پیش تر شمس الدین حسینی، وزیر امور اقتصادی و دارایی، درباره بنزین ۴۰۰ تومانی با آغاز اصلاح قیمت ها گفته است «حتما شاید بشود.»
مجید نامجو، وزیر نیرو، نیز درباره قیمت جدید برق اظهارداشته است، «دولت تنها متوسط قیمت برق را تعیین می‌کند؛ ولی تعرفه‌های برق برای سطوح مختلف مردم به‌ صورت پلکانی، منطقه‌ ای، ترجیحی و تبعیضی خواهد بود.»
وی افزود، «قیمت بخش عظیمی از مشترکان شبکه برق کشور، کم تر از ۴ هزار تومان افزایش خواهد یافت.»
محمدرضا رویانیان، رئیس ستاد مدیریت حمل و نقل و سوخت کشور، نيز درباره قیمت جدید گاز مایع در شرایط هدفمندی یارانه‌ها اظهارداشته است، «قیمت سی ان جی CNG به بیش از دو برابر رقم فعلی افزایش خواهد یافت.»
مسولان دولتی ایران فعلا از قیمت برآوردی سایر حامل های انرژی رونما یی نکرده‌اند. تنها محمود احمدی نژاد، رئیس جمهوری اسلامی، در برنامه زنده تلویزیونی اخیر خود فرض را بر قیمت گازوئیل بیش از ۱۰۰ تومانی گرفت و افزایش قیمت های حمل و نقل و سایر را براساس آن برآورد کرد. که با تکیه به سخنان محمود احمدی نژاد
برخی از منابع خبری داخل کشور از احتمال افزایش قیمت گازوئیل به بیش از ۱۰۰ تومان خبر می دهند.

گردشگری ايرانيان در ارمنستان

رونق گردشگری ايرانيان در ارمنستان به سال ۱۹۹۰ باز می گردد که مرز دو کشورباز شد، و اينک به نظر می رسد سرعت گرفته است. مخاک اپرسيان (Mekhak Apresyan) مسئول اداره گردشگری در وزارت اقتصاد ارمنستان می گويد در ۹ ماهه اول سال ميلادی جاری نزدیک به ۸۴۰۰۰ گردشگر ايرانی به ارمنستان آمده اند، حال آنکه اين رقم در تمامی سال قبل ۴۴۰۰۰ نفر بود.
گردشگری تنها بخشی از مناسبات رو به گسترش است که چهار پروژه عمده مشترک، شامل ايجاد يک ترمينال نفتی، يک خط آهن، يک نيروگاه برق آبی در رودخانه ارس و سومين خط فشار قوی برق از جمله آنهاست.
تيگران سرکيسيان (Tigran Sarkisian) نخست وزير ارمنستان هفته گذشته در سفری به تهران گسترش و تحکيم مناسبات اقتصادی را مطرح ساخت و پس از آن محمد رضا رحيمی معاون رياست جمهوری ايران ابراز اميدواری کرد تجارت ميان دو کشور به سطح يک ميليارد دلار در سال برسد، که پنج برابر رقم فعلی خواهد بود.
مناسبات تجاری می تواند به خوبی و با توجه به ارتباطات ايرانيانی نظير امير سعيد، که برای تحصيلات دانشگاهی به ايروان کوچ کرده است، شکل بگيرد و گسترش يابد. او حالا قصد دارد ضمن ايجاد کسب و کار در آنجا، با يک زن ارمنی نيز ازدواج کند. اما اين همان بخش از مناسباتی است که بسياری از ارامنه با آن کشمکش دارند.
آنا گوورگيان (Anna Gevorgyan) کارشناس امور ايران در مرکز مطالعات تمدن و فرهنگ در دانشگاه دولتی ايروان از حضور بازرگانان ايرانی استقبال می کند اما نگران آثار ناشی از مالکيت آنهاست. به گفته او نيمی از مردان ايرانی که به ارمنستان می آيند می خواهند با زنان ارمنی ازدواج کنند و يک سوم خواستار خريد مستغلات اند. او می گويد «اين روندی خطرناک است، چون شمار ايرانی ها زياد است و اگر فقط يک يا دو درصد آنها در ارمنستان مستغلات بخرند، ظرف چند سال با يک مشکل جدی جمعيتی [نژادی، طبقاتی و جنسيتی] مواجه می شويم.»

Who is Stephen Hawking?

Stephen Hawking is one of the greatest mind of our time. He has worked on the basic laws which govern the universe. With Roger Penrose he showed that Einstein's General Theory of Relativity implied space and time would have a beginning in the Big Bang and an end in black holes. These results indicated that it was necessary to unify General Relativity with Quantum Theory, the other great Scientific development of the first half of the 20th Century. One consequence of such a unification that he discovered was that black holes should not be completely black, but rather should emit radiation and eventually evaporate and disappear. Another conjecture is that the universe has no edge or boundary in imaginary time. This would imply that the way the universe began was completely determined by the laws of science.

Throughout his early work, Hawking used the word "God" in metaphorical meanings but also suggested the existence of God was unnecessary to explain the origin of the universe, as discussed in his book, A Brief History of Time. However, his newest book The Grand Design clarifies that he does "not believe in a personal God." Hawking writes, "The question is: is the way the universe began chosen by God for reasons we can't understand, or was it determined by a law of science? I believe the second." Hawking adds, "Because there is a law such as gravity, the Universe can and will create itself from nothing."

Hawking has stated that he is "not religious in the normal sense" and he believes that "the universe is governed by the laws of science. The laws may have been decreed by God, but God does not intervene to break the laws." Hawking compared religion and science in 2010, saying: "There is a fundamental difference between religion, which is based on authority [imposed dogma, faith], [as opposed to] science, which is based on observation and reason. Science will win because it works."

"Where do we come from? How did the universe begin? Why is the universe the way it is? How will it end?

"All my life, I have been fascinated by the big questions that face us, and have tried to find scientific answers to them. If, like me, you have looked at the stars, and tried to make sense of what you see, you too have started to wonder what makes the universe exist. The questions are clear, and deceptively simple. آزمایش دوپینگ سعید علی حسینی دو بار مثبت شده است . سعيد علی حسينی، پدیده فوق سنگین وزنه برداری ایران و قهرمان و رکورددار جوانان جهان برای هميشه از حضور در رقابت های وزنه برداری محروم شد. به گزارش خبرگزاری ايسنا، فدراسيون جهانی وزنه برداری به دليل مثبت بودن آزمایش دوپينگ سعيد علی حسينی برای دومين بار، به محروميت همیشگی وزنه بردار ایرانی رای داد. آزمایش دوپينگ علی حسينی اولین بار در سال ۲۰۰۶ میلادی مثبت اعلام شد و او دو سال از حضور در مسابقات محروم بود. در سال ۲۰۰۹ و در آستانه مسابقات جهانی کره جنوبی، آزمایش دوپینگ علی حسينی در اردوی تيم ملی وزنه‌برداری برای بار دوم مثبت اعلام شد و وی در این رقابت ها حضور نداشت.

علی حسينی همواره اتهام دوپینگ را رد کرده بود و کادر فنی تیم ملی و آمپول های تزریق شده در اردو را دلیل این مشکل می دانست. او پس از شنیدن خبر محرومیت همیشگی اش گفت که کاملا شوکه شده است و فعلا نمی تواند حرفی بزند. حسین رضازاده، سرپرست کنونی فدراسیون وزنه برداری و سرمربی تیم ایران در سال ۲۰۰۹ در این باره به خبر آنلاین گفت: "ما تمام تلاشمان را کردیم که مشکل سعید حل شود. هزینه کردیم، وکیل گرفتیم و خودم دو بار در جلسات شرکت کردم. اما مسئولان فدراسیون جهانی به جواب آزمایش آزمایشگاه کلن استناد می کردند و می گفتند قانون برای همه یکسان است."

Cancer-Fighting Curry / Turmeric

Turmeric has long been known to be an especially beneficial herb for many health conditions and is commonly used in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine, especially curry dishes. Not only is turmeric tasty but and a new study from Saint Louis University has now also discovered that it may also be helpful in the prevention and treatment of advanced liver disease.

Curcurmin is a chemical in turmeric that shows promise for treating a form of fatty liver disease called non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) which is linked to obesity and weight gain. NASH affects up to 4% of the adult population in the United States and can lead to more progressive liver damage such as fibrosis, cirrhosis, liver cancer, and even death.

In the study, researchers used hepatic stellate cells which generate collagen. These cells synthesize an excess of the protein when exposed to high levels of leptin, a hormone associated with eating a satiety that is often found in elevated levels in the blood of overweight and obese people, especially those with type 2 diabetes. Curcurmin seems to interfere with leptin’s effect on hepatic cells, thus negating their overproduction of collagen and preventing the development of liver fibrosis.

Although more animal studies and clinical trials in humans are needed before the full role of turmeric and curcurmin can be fully elucidated, it seems that this tasty natural herb shows great promise in the prevention and treatment of liver disease. Big energy firms cut Iran ties under US pressure

Four major European oil companies will abandon their Iranian activities voluntarily to avoid American sanctions designed to pressure Iran over its nuclear program, US officials said on Thursday.

The decision by France's Total, Norway's Statoil, Italy's ENI and Royal Dutch Shell will help ratchet up pressure as Western powers seek to bring Tehran into new talks on an atomic program they fear is aimed at producing nuclear weapons, Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg said.

"The international community should collectively abandon a business-as-usual approach to Iran," Steinberg told reporters, saying other major energy companies were under investigation and could face consequences if they do not follow suit.

Steinberg said the United States had already slapped new sanctions on a Swiss-based subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company, which he described as a conduit for hundreds of millions of dollars to Iran's energy sector.

While he declined to identify the companies being probed, Steinberg made clear that the United States was bringing pressure to bear as it seeks to squeeze Tehran's economic lifelines.

"We are engaging in conversations. We will sustain the confidentiality of those so long as we think it's productive," he told a news briefing.

A list of energy companies previously identified by the US Government Accountability Office as doing business in Iran included Russia's Lukoil and Gazprom, China's CNOOC and CNPC, Brazil's Petrobras and other firms from Britain, Italy, South Korea, India, Austria, Germany and other countries.

The UN Security Council passed new sanctions on Iran in June, and the US Congress followed by approving additional measures that seek to directly penalize Iran's energy and banking sector and to go after foreign companies that do business with Tehran.

Iran, which has resisted pressure to open wide-ranging talks over its nuclear programs, says that its nuclear program is peaceful and that while it is open to talks, it will never give up its right to peaceful nuclear energy.

The UN Security Council's five permanent members, the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China, are working with Germany to draw Iran back into negotiations that collapsed last year. But progress has been slow and US officials describe sanctions as a way to pressure Tehran to talk.

"What we are focused on is to make clear to Iran that the consequences are linked to their behavior on the nuclear program and that there is a way forward for them to avoid those consequences," Steinberg said.

Dissuading Non-US Companies

Steinberg said the new sanctions on Swiss-based Naftiran Intertrade Co -- a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company -- would themselves deal a significant blow.

But other US officials said most of the activity covered by the new sanctions was already barred by US law and suggested their main consequence might be to dissuade non-US companies from partnering with Naftiran.

The company channels "hundreds of millions of dollars for financing for development projects in Iran's petroleum sector, and sanctioning (it) today will further isolate the company from the international business community," Steinberg said.

Steinberg said Naftiran will be prohibited from receiving export assistance from the US Export-Import Bank or private US bank loans exceeding $10 million in any 12-month period and blocked from US government procurement contracts.

The deal with the four international oil majors to curtail Iran activities set a precedent that other companies should follow, showing that the threat of sanctions was leaving Tehran increasingly isolated, Steinberg said

"People are increasingly reaching the conclusion that it's simply not worth it to engage in activities with Iran," he said.

S-300 contract with Iran falls under UN sanctions - Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday the supply of Russian S-300 air defense system to Iran falls under UN Security Council sanctions.

Commenting on the statement by head of the Iranian parliament’s committee on national security Alaeddin Boroujerdi regarding Tehran's plans to sue Russia for the breach of the contract, Lavrov told reporters: "I've heard nothing about it. I only know that the supplies fall under the ban introduced by the UN Security Council, and in this event force majeure comes into effect."

آمریکا از دیدار احمدی نژاد از جنوب لبنان ابراز نگرانی می کند

ایالات متحده آمریکا نسبت به گزارش هایی که حاکی است محمود احمدی نژاد رییس جمهوری ایران هفته آینده از جنوب لبنان دیدن خواهد کرد ،ابراز نگرانی کرده است.
فیلیپ کراولی سخنگوی وزارت امور خارجه آمریکا روز سه شنبه گفت هیلاری کلینتون وزیر امور خارجه هنگام ملاقات با میشل سلیمان رییس جمهوری لبنان در حاشیه اجلاس مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل متحد ، در این باره بحث کرد.
کراولی گفت لبنان حق دارد از هر رهبر خارجی برای سفر به کشور دعوت کند. اما اظهار داشت ایالات متحده عاقلانه بودن طرح های لبنان را برای دادن اجازه دیدار از مرز ناآرام اسراییل و لبنان به احمدی نژاد زیر سئوال می کشد.
جنبش حزب اله لبنان، که ایران از آن حمایت می کند، گفته است احمدی نژاد از قرار گاه حزب اله در جنوب لبنان، از جمله یک نقطه مرزی که در آن مسافران طرفدار حزب اله بطرف اسراییل سنگ پرتاب می کنند، دیدن خواهد کرد.

ازدحام مردم برای خرید دلار در ایران

نرخ دلار در ایران به ۱۰۸۰ تومان کاهش یافت. خبرگزاری مهر بعد از ظهر روز یک شنبه ۱۱ مهر ماه اعلام کرد اکثر صرافی های واقع در میدان فردوسی و چهار راه استامبول تهران در حالی امروز قیمت انواع ارز را در تابلو های صرافی خود درج کردند که قیمت دلار به ۱۰۸۰ تومان رسید. اين رقم نسبت به دلار ۱۲۲۰ تومانی چهارشنبه هفته گذشته حدود ۱۴۰ تومان کاهش نشان می دهد.
برخی از صرافی ها قیمت فروش یورو را بین ۱۵۲۰ تا ۱۵۳۵ بر روی تابلوهای خود درج کرده اند. در عین حال، اکثر آن ها قیمت خرید را حک نکرده اند اما در مراجعه برای خرید توسط مشتری قیمت آن حدود ۱۴۸۰ تومان اعلام می شود.
در حالی گزارش ها از استقبال شدید صرافی ها و مردم از فرش ارز دلار در صرافی های بانک ها حکایت دارد، که بانک مرکزی جمهوری اسلامی ایران نرخ مرجع دلار را ۱۰۷۰ تومان و یورو را ۱۴۷۶ تومان اعلام کرده است.
خبرگزاری مهر در ساعات بامدادی روز یک شنبه ۱۱ مهر ماه اعلام کرد با وجود این که ساعاتی از صبح نگذشته است، مردم برای خرید صف های طولانی در مقابل صرافی بانک ها تشکیل داده اند.
در حالی که مسئولان بانک مرکزی و بانک ملی اعلام کرده اند که به هر متقاضی به هر میزان و بدون هیچ گونه محدویتی ارز فروخته می شود.
مسئولان دولتی در عین حال مطرح کرده اند که مردم برای خرید ارز در بازار عجله نکنند، زیرا ممکن است با مشکلاتی در این زمینه مواجه شوند.
خبرگزاری فارس بعد از ظهر روز یکشنبه ۱۱ مهرماه در همین رابطه اعلام کرد پس از ورود بانک مرکزی برای کنترل بازار ارز و عرضه ارز با نرخ ۱۰۷۸ تومان توسط صرافی های بانک ملی و بانک ملت، مردم برای خرید دلار حاضرند چند ساعت در صف این صرافی ها بمانند، اما به صرافی هایی که قیمت بالاتر ارائه کرده و یا نرخی اعلام نمی کنند، مراجعه نکنند.
البته به گزارش همین منبع، نکته حائز اهمیت در بازار ارز تهران در روز یک شنبه ۱۱ مهر ماه، نبود نرخ برای انواع ارز از جمله دلار کانادا، دلار استرالیا، فرانک سوئیس، ین ژاپن، درهم امارات متحده عربی، کرون دانمارک، کرون سوئد و کرون نروژ است.
به گزارش خبرگزاری فارس، روز یکشنبه ازدحام جمعیت در مقابل صرافی های بانک های ملی و ملت به حدی بودکه صف متقاضیان ارز به چند خیابان کشیده شد.
در همین حال محمود رضا خاوری مدیر عامل بانک ملی روز شنبه ۱۰ مهر ماه در نشستی خبری در محل صرافی این بانک، مردم و بازار ارز را مخاطب قرار دارد و گفت، بازار هشیار باشد مردم نیز فریب سفته بازی های بازار ارز را نخورند.
محمود خاوری هم چنین اظهار داشت، کسانی که برای خرید سکه عجله کنند پشیمان می شوند.
مدیر عامل بانک ملی در پاسخ به خبرنگار خبرگزاری کار ایران (ایلنا)، مبنی بر این که آشفتگی بازار ارز تهران تا چه حد مربوط به محدودیت های اعمال شده علیه ایران است و آیا ترکیه جای دوبی برای نقل و اتتقال وجوه ارزی ایران خواهد گرفت گفت، تهران راه های مورد نظر خود را اعلام نمی کند.
مدیر عامل بانک ملی به سئوال دیگر همین منبع، مبنی بر این که اگر تحریم ها منشا گرفتاری های پیش آمده در بازار ارز باشد به نظر می رسد هر چه که بانک مرکزی ارز به بازار تزریق کند مشکل تنها به صورت مقطعی حل خواهد شد، با لحنی تند خبرنگار خبرگزاری کار ایران (ایلنا) را مورد خطاب قرار دارد و گفت، شما به دنبال چه هستید؟ چه می خواهید بدانید؟ دنیا به دنبال معامله با ایران است.
در این حال روزنامه خبر که تیتر اصلی صفحه نخست روز یکشنبه ۱۱ مهر ماه، را به «گزارشی از تلاطم های بازار سکه و ارز در روزهای اخیر» اختصاص داده است، وضعیت دلار را «هم چنان سر درگم دانسته» است؛ با اين وصف قیمت طلا را «در انتظار آرامش» ارزیابی کرده است.
در حالی قیمت سکه روز یکشنبه به سیر صعودی خود ادامه داد که خبرگزاری مهر بعد از ظهر روز یک شنبه ۱۱ مهر ماه اعلام کرد، اکثر صرافی ها قیمت های خرید و فروش سکه را بر روی تابلوهای خود درج کرده اند، اما این قیمت ها بسیار متفاوت است به نحوی که قیمت فروش سکه تمام بهار آزادی روز یک شنبه بین ۳۵۳ تا ۳۷۴ هزار تومان و قیمت خرید بین ۳۴۸ تا ۳۵۰ هزار تومان گزارش شده است.

حمله لفظی شدید محمود احمدی نژاد به رهبران آمریکا

محمود احمدى نژاد، ریيس جمهوری اسلامى ايران می گوید رهبران آمریکا «دنیا را به لجن کشیده اند.» او روز یکشنبه در مراسم افتتاح واحدهای مسکونی مهر در شهر جدید هشتگرد در سخنانی جنجالى ضمن حمله به آمریکا گفت: «رهبران آمریکا آن قدر پر رو هستند كه ما را تهديد مى كنند. مرده شور خودتان، ميزتان و قيافه تان را ببرد كه همه دنيا را به لجن كشيديد.»

محمود احمدى نژاد با زیر سوال بردن مسئولان حادثه تروريستى ۱۱ سپتامبر و یاد کردن از آن به عنوان يک «ماجرا»، گفت جهان آنچه که باراک اوباما رییس جمهوری آمریکا یا سلف او جرج بوش می گوید را نمی پذیرد.
احمدی نژاد گفت حقيقت موضوع ۱۱ سپتامبر بايد روشن شود. سخنان اخیر محمود احمدی نژاد شبیه به سخنان هفته گذشته او در مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل متحد است. او در سخنرانی سالانه خود در مجمع عمومی گفته بود «بیشتر مردم جهان» می گویند که دولت آمریکا حملات ۱۱ سپتامبر ۲۰۰۱ را طراحی کرده است. به دنبال این سخنان بود که هیات آمریکایی حاضر در جلسه و دیپلمات های کشورهای دیگر سالن را ترک کردند.
باراک اوباما، رییس جمهوری آمریکا، اظهارات آقای احمدی نژاد در صحن مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل متحد را «نفرت بار» و «توهین آمیز» خواند و در گفت و گو با شبکه تلویزیونی بی بی سی فارسی گفت این سخنان آن هم در نیویورک و در جایی نزدیک به محل حادثه، آن ها را توهین آمیز تر می سازد.
آقای اوباما همچنین گفت پیروان تمامی ادیان و قومیت ها این حملات را «تراژدی نسل حاضر» می دانند و اظهارات رییس جمهوری اسلامی ایران را با ابراز احساسات مردم ایران در زمان وقوع حادثه، در تناقض خواند.
یک مقام بلند پایه دولتی آمریکا اظهارات آقای احمدی نژاد در مجمع عمومی را بخشی از یک الگوی مشابه با انکار هالوکاست دسته بندی کرد که انعکاس دهنده مردم ایران نیست.
او همچنین گفت ایران باید برای حل مسئله هسته ای خود با جامعه بین الملل به یک راه حل دیپلماتیک دست یابد. او گفت ایران باید بر سر میز مذاکره، اقداماتی ملموس مبنی بر عمل به وظائف بین المللی اش نشان دهد.

روابط دیپلماتیک ايران و آمريكا از سه دهه پيش تاکنون متوقف شده و به ویژه در چند سال گذشته به دلیل برنامه اتمی تهران، این روابط بیشتر دچار تنش شده است.
کشورهای غربى ايران را به تلاش مخفیانه برای ساخت بمب اتمى متهم می کنند ولى تهران اين اتهام را رد می کند.

نورمن ويزدام، کمدين معروف انگليسی، درگذشت

نورمن ويزدام، کمدین سرشناس انگليسی، روز دوشنبه در ۹۵ سالگی درگذشت. ستاره فیلم‌های «شيشه‌پاک‌کن»، «آدم ناجور»، «به ‌دنبال ستاره»، «آدم نادرستي بود»، «سربزنگاه» و «سحرخيز» در ۹۰ سالگی از فعالیت هنری کنار رفت.

چارلی چاپلین در جایی از نورمن ویزدام به عنوان «دلقک محبوب من» یاد کرده بود.

به گزارش خبرگزاری آسوشيتدپرس، وضعيت جسمانی نورمن، در ماه‌های گذشته، بر اثر چند سکته ناقص وخيم شده بود. او سرانجام در يک خانه سالمندان در «آيل آو من»، جزيره‌ای در شمال غربی بريتانيا، درگذشت.

فيلم‌های کمدی نورمن ويزدام، به‌ویژه در دهه‌های ۵۰ و ۶۰ ميلادی تماشاگران بسيار داشت. او در دهه ۱۳۵۰ به ايران سفر کرد و برای دوستداران ايرانيش روی صحنه رفت. در همين سفر بود که هادی خرسندی، طنزپرداز نامدار ايرانی، گفت‌وگويی با «نورمن» انجام داد.

به نوشته وب‌سایت رسمی نورمن ویزدام، از سال ۱۹۵۵ تا ۱۹۶۶ فیلم‌های نورمن ویزدام در بریتانیا بسیار پرفروش بود و از نظر تجاری موفق‌تر از فیلم‌های جیمز باند با بازی شون کانری بود.

نورمن ویزدام که مدرسه را در ۱۳ سالگی ترک کرده و در یک بقالی مشغول کار شده بود، در ۳۱ سالگی در سال ۱۹۴۶ پس از ترک ارتش، به عنوان بازیگر حرفه‌ای در تئاتر هنرنمایی کرد و به سرعت توجه مردم را به خود جلب کرد.

وب‌سایت رسمی نورمن ویزدام می‌نویسد که در سال ۱۹۵۳ در فیلم «دردسر در فروشگاه» درخشید و جایزه «بفتا» را دریافت کرد. او در بسیاری از فيلم‌هايش‌ با كلاه کپ پارچه‌ای و كت و شلوار گشاد ظاهر می‌شد.

اين کمدين در سال ٢٠٠٠ به پاس بيش از نيم قرن تلاش هنري خود از ملکه بريتانيا لقب «سر» دريافت کرد.

او همچنين‌ به‌ خوانندگی روی آورد و ترانه‌ معروف‌ «به‌ من‌ نخند» را اجرا كرد. نورمن ویزدام که در سال ۲۰۰۵ از فعالیت هنری بازنشسته شده بود در سال ۲۰۰۷ در فیلم «اکسپرسو» نقش کوتاهی ایفا کرد.

کويت با پیروزی مقابل ايران قهرمان مسابقات غرب آسيا شد

تيم ملی فوتبال ايران با يک بازی انتقاد آميز در مسابقه پايانی جام قهرمانی کشورهای غرب آسيا از تيم ملی کويت شکست خورد و از رسيدن به مقام قهرمانی باز ماند.

هر دو گل تيم منظم و با برنامه تيم کويت در نيمه نخست به ثمر رسيد و شاگردان افشين قطبی با ادامه بازی بی انگيزه و ضعيف خود در دقيقه ۶+۹۰ توسط داوود می آبادی به تنها گلی دست يافت که در سرنوشت قهرمانی و ناکامی ملی پوشان ايران تاثيری نداشت.

گلهای تيم کويت را عبدلعزيز العنزی در دقيقه ۱۰ و يوسف سليمان در دقيقه ۱+۴۵ به ثمر رساندند.

در ورزشگاه ملک عبدالله امان (اردن) تيم ايران اميد بسيار داشت که پس از پيروزی دو بر يک بر عراق در نيمه پايانی به پنجمين مقام قهرمانی، تکرار موفقيت دوره پيش به سرمربيگری علی دايی و جايزه نقدی ۷۰ هزار دلاری قهرمانی دست يابد. اما در تمام طول مسابقه تيم ايران نشان داد که توقف دو بر دو در برابر تيم رده پايين عمان و بازيهای پيروزی بار اما پر نقطه های ضعف قابل اصلاح نبوده است.

ايران منهای بازی نخست با تيم ضعيف شده بحرين در مسابقه های بعدی در برابر تيمهای عربی پنج گل خورد تا نشان دهد برای مسابقه های قهرمانی قهرمانی جام ملتهای آسيا با مشکلات بسياری دست به گريبان است.

در مجموع شش دوره اين جام دو سال يک بار ايران چهار بار و تيمهای عراق و کويت هر کدام يک بار قهرمان شده اند.

خبرگزاری دولتی جمهوری اسلامی ضمن انتقاد از بازی تيم ملی گزارش داد که فوتبال دوستان از انتقادهای افراط گونه گزارشگر سيمای جمهوری اسلامی گلايه کرده اند و آن را سوهان کشيدن به اعصاب و روحيه مردم دانسته اند.

Rally on al-Quds day in Iran

About hundred-thousand crowd chanted slogans and waved the Islamic Republic's flags in the air as they rallied in the streets. But Mehdi Karroubi, an Iranian opposition leader, was apparently prevented from joining the rally, his website said. The Saham news website said members of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard surrounded Karroubi's home to prevent him from attending the gathering and that attackers from groups loyal to Ali Khamenei, Iran's supreme leader, smashed windows of his house and beat up one of his security guards. It was reported that the head of Karroubi's body guards, was shot in the leg and then he was beaten up with truncheons and sticks. He's in a critical condition in hospital at the moment." Until the last presidential election, Mehdi Karroubi was one of the strong man in the Islamic Republic government.

The government uses al-Quds day to show its support for the Palestinians, but last year Karroubi and other opposition leaders used the day to gather tens of thousands of their own supporters into the streets where violent clashes broke out with security forces. Karroubi's son, Hossein, told The Associated Press news agency that dozens of government supporters were continuing to damage the opposition leader's home and that police were not responding to the scene. Karroubi and Mir Hossein Mousavi were two pro-reform candidates who ran against Ahmadinejad in 2009. Mousavi claims he won the election but that it was stolen from him through massive fraud.

Al-Quds day was started by the late Ruhollah Khomeini as a way of expressing solidarity with the Palestinians and underscoring Jerusalem's importance to Muslims.

Fidel Castro warns of 'nuclear war'

Former Cuban leader says US pressure over Iran's nuclear program will lead to war, in first public speech since 2006. Fidel Castro has warned against the dangers of nuclear war in his first public speech since undergoing surgery in 2006. Castro, 84, said a nuclear conflict was inevitable if the United States, in alliance with Israel, tried to enforce international sanctions against Iran over its nuclear program.

Addressing around 10,000 people, mostly students, at the University of Havana on Friday, he slammed Washington for creating a "system that threatens the survival of humanity". "The problem of people today, the more than seven billion human beings, is to prevent such a tragedy from happening," he said. "Faced with the skeptics, our duty is to keep up the fight, I am convinced that a good number of people are becoming conscious of the reality." The crowd shouted "Fidel, Fidel Fidel" and applauded at several points during the nationally televised address. "In this, like in many battles of the past, we can win," he said in reference to his efforts to warn the world of the nuclear danger he fears.

Standing behind a podium at the top of steps, he spoke for about 40 minutes, far shorter than the hours-long speeches he once gave. As has been his custom since resurfacing, he did not talk about Cuba's domestic issues.

Japan approves new Iran sanctions

Tokyo imposes restrictions on Iranian business interests over Tehran's disputed nuclear program. Japan's cabinet has approved new sanctions against Iran, including an assets freeze on figures linked to Tehran's disputed nuclear program and tighter restrictions on financial transactions. The government also announced that it would suspend any new oil and gas investments in Iran, but there are no plans to restrict imports of crude oil from the country, a major energy supplier to resource-poor Japan. "Our nation has traditionally had a close relationship with Iran," Yoshito Sengoku, a top government spokesman, told reporters. "From this unique position, we will make persistent calls on the country for the peaceful and diplomatic resolution of this problem." The move comes a month after Tokyo approved punitive measures in line with a June UN Security Council resolution, which slapped a fourth set of sanctions on Iran over its refusal to halt uranium enrichment work.

Asset freeze

Japan's new sanctions include a freeze on the assets of 88 groups and 24 individuals linked to Iran's country's nuclear program, which many nations fear masks a drive for atomic weapons, a government document said. Japan will also bar the individuals on the expanded blacklist from entering the country, it said. The new package of sanctions also prohibits Japanese financial institutions from dealing in bonds issued by Iran's central bank and equities linked to any activities to develop nuclear arms or other weapons of mass destruction. The United States, European Union, Canada and Australia have also announced additional sanctions, which have been opposed by Russia and China, now Iran's closest trading partner, with major energy interests in the country.

Last month, Washington urged Tokyo to help raise international pressure on Tehran, despite Japan's usually friendly ties with the country. In early August, Robert Einhorn, the US state department special adviser for non-proliferation and arms control said in Tokyo: "Japan imports a lot of oil from Iran, but the steps we are asking Japan to take would not interfere in any way with Japan's energy security, its imports of oil from Iran."

Iran maintains that its nuclear program is peaceful, and not a front for the development of nuclear weapons.

توهين روزنامه کيهان و شبکه خبر به همسر رئيس جمهوری فرانسه

روزنامه کيهان روز ششم شهريور در ستون خبر ويژه، در مطلبی تحت عنوان «فواحش هم وارد داد و قال حقوق بشر شدند»، به بهانه درخواست همسر رئيس جمهوری فرانسه برای توقف حکم سنگسار سکينه محمدی آشتيانی، وی را «فاسد الاخلاق» خوانده است.

اين روزنامه در ستون خبر ويژه، به شيرين عبادی حمله کرده و در کنار آن کارلا برونی و ايزابل آجانی، هنرپيشه فرانسوی را فاسد خوانده است. کيهان خانم برونی را متهم کرده است که زندگی نيکولا سارکوزی رئيس جمهوری فرانسه را از هم پاشيده و با او ازدواج کرده است.

شبکه خبر هم در وب‌سايت خود در مطلبی با حمله به خانم برونی نوشته است:«کارلا برونی همسر رئيس جمهوری فرانسه که فساد متعدد اخلاقی خود و شوهرش بارها رسانه‌ای شده است با ارسال نامه‌ای از سکينه اشتيانی حمايت کرد.»

توهين اين دو رسانه نزديک به دولت در ايران، در برخی رسانه‌ها بازتاب داشته و روزنامه ديلی تگلراف هم در تيتری نوشته است: «ايران، کارلا برونی را فاحشه خواند.»

حساسيت اين دو رسانه دولتی در ايران پس از آن شکل می‌گيرد که در کشور فرانسه کمپينی گسترده برای نجات جان سکينه محمدی آشتيانی آغاز شده است. کمپينی که عده‌ای از معروف‌ترين شخصيت‌های اين کشور از جمله دو رئيس جمهور سابق، والری ژيسکاردستن و ژاک شيراک، نيز امضای خود را پای آن گذاشتند.

به دنبال انتشار خبر حکم سنگسار خانم محمدی‌آشتيانی، جامعه جهانی به اين حکم به‌شدت اعتراض کرد و بريتانيا نيز با «قرون وسطايی»‌ خواندن حکم سنگسار، خواستار لغو حکم سنگسار اين متهم دربند شد که در نهايت و به دنبال بالا گرفتن اعتراض‌ها، قاضی پرونده اجرای حکم سنگسار را به طور موقت متوقف کرد.

برنار کوشنر در نامه خود به کاترين اشتون، مسئول سياست خارجی اتحاديه اروپا، نوشته است که از تمام ۲۷ عضو اين اتحاديه بخواهد در مورد اعدام اين زن ۴۳ ساله ايرانی که اکنون در زندان به سر می‌برد به جمهوری اسلامی هشدار دهند. خانم اشتون هم در پاسخ به نامه آقای کوشنر، مجازات سنگسار را مربوط به دوران و اعصار گذشته خوانده است.

دستگاه قضايی جمهوری اسلامی می‌گويد سکينه محمدی آشتيانی به سبب زنا به سنگسار محکوم شده و به جرم مشارکت در قتل همسر خود نيز بايد ده سال در زندان بسر ببرد.

یک ایرانی کانادایی مظنون به فعالیت های تروریستی در کانادا

در شرایطی که نیروهای امنیتی کانادا روز چهارشنبه (۲۵ اوت)، سه مرد کانادایی را به اتهام فعالیت های تروریستی و به ظن توطئه برای بمب گذاری و ارتباط و همکاری با یک گروه تروریستی بازداشت کرده اند، رسانه های کانادا از تبار ایرانی یکی از افراد مظنون خبر داده اند.
هیوا علیزاده و مصباح الدین احمد و خرم شر هفته گذشته طی عملیات سری پلیس کانادا در عملیات موسوم به « پروژه سمبوسه » در اتاوا بازداشت شدند.
یکی از مظنونان این پروژه، هیوا علیزاده، مرد کانادایی ایرانی تباری ست که رسانه های کانادا از وی به عنوان رهبر این حلقه تروریستی یاد کرده اند.
« سی بی سی »، تلویزیون دولتی کانادا گزارش داده است آقای علیزاده سی ساله است و حداقل هفت سال پیش به کانادا مهاجرت کرده و بیشتر این دوران را در شهر وینیپگ اقامت داشته است.
هیوا علیزاده براساس مفاد قانون ضد تروریسم کانادا متهم شده است آگاهانه توطئه چینی برای یک فعالیت تروریستی را تسهیل و برای یک گروه تروریستی، کمک های مالی گردآوری کرده و ملک و یا خانه در اختیار یک گروه تروریستی قرار داده است. در اختیار داشتن ماده منفجره به نیت آسیب رساندن به دیگران نیز از جمله اتهامات این مرد کانادایی ایرانی تبار است.
یوسف عبدالرحمان، صاحب بک فروشگاه موادغذایی حلال در شهر وینیپگ گفته است آقای علیزاده مدتی در این فروشگاه کار می کرده و بعدها این فروشگاه را به طور مشترک با وی اداره می کرده است. آقای عبدالرحمان او را فردی بسیار قابل اطمینان و سخت کوش خوانده است.
هیوا علیزاده که در سال ۲۰۰۸ این شهر را ترک کرد مسلمان سنی ست و حدود دو سال پیش در اتاوا اقامت گزیده بود.
« سی بی سی »، به نقل از اولیور آبرگل، وکیل جنایی هیوا علیزاده گزارش داده است همکاری با یک گروه تروریستی، توطئه برای ارتکاب به اقدام خرابکارانه، فراهم آوردن تسهیلات و یا در دسترس قرار دادن منزل خود برای یک سازمان تروریستی از جمله اتهامات مطرح شده علیه موکلش بوده است.
بنا به گفته پلیس کانادا، این افراد در پی تحقیق مشترک نهادهای امنیتی و پلیس یک سال گذشته دستگیر شده اند و برای حمله به بناهای دولتی و سیستم های حمل و نقل کانادا، توطئه چینی کرده بودند و فعالیت های آن ها برای امنیت کشور و سلامت شهروندان تهدید جدی و واقعی قلمداد می شوند.
پلیس کانادا پس از جستجوی منازل افراد مظنون، بیش از پنجاه تخته مدار الکترونیک که برای کنترل و انفجار بمب از راه دور طراحی شده اند و نیز چندین کامپیوتر و جعبه حاوی مطالب مربوط به اقدامات تروریستی، نوار ویدئویی و دستورالعمل برای اقدامات خرابکارانه را مصادره کرده است.
بنا به گزارش روزنامه گلوب اند میل، پلیس مصباح الدین احمد را به همکاری با یک سلول مخفی و توطئه چینی برای اجرای حمله هایی متهم کرده است که از شیوه بمب گذاری های تروریستی افغانستان و عراق الهام گرفته شده اند. آقای احمد ۲۶ ساله و تکنسین اشعه ایکس در بیمارستان اتاواست.
خرم شر، پزشک ۲۸ ساله متولد کانادا و پاکستانی تبار است. آقای شرنیز متهم شده که آگاهانه شرایط را برای فعالیت های تروریستی تسهیل کرده است. وی در سال ۲۰۰۶ به عنوان بخشی از یک گروه امداد، برای کمک به زلزله زدگان کشمیر به منطقه سفر کرده بود.
در شرایطی که مقامات امنیتی کانادا جزئیات زیادی از ماهیت فعالیت این افراد در اختیار رسانه ها قرار نداده اند، اما یک منبع مطلع پلیس به تلویزیون دولتی کانادا گفته است این افراد در حوزه گسترده ای از ایران، افغانستان، عراق و کانادا فعالیت می کرده اند و در مرحله برنامه ریزی برای توطئه و اجرای حمله و بمب گذاری برای یک گروه تروریستی بوده اند.
مایکل ایگناتیف، رهبر حزب لیبرال و مخالف دولت فدرال کانادا در مورد اتهامات مطرح شده علیه این افراد گفته است تا زمانی که اتهامات مظنونان در دادگاه ثابت نشود، این افراد بیگناه قلمداد می شوند و باید به حقوق آن ها احترام گذاشته شود.
بنا به گزارش رسانه های کانادا، متهمان تا برگزاری جلسه بعدی دادگاه در اول سپتامبر، در بازداشت نیروهای امنیتی خواهند بود.
مظنون چهارم نیز روز شنبه ( ۲۸ اوت ) به اتهام فعالیت های تروریستی بازداشت شد، اما بنا به گزارش رسانه های کانادا اتهامات وی به پرونده مظنونان هفته گذشته ارتباطی ندارد.

همایون بهزادی، «سرطلايی فوتبال ايران» در بيمارستان بستری شد

همايون بهزادی، بازيکن بزرگ فوتبال ايران در دهه های۴۰ و ۵۰ شمسی به دليل ناراحتی شديد ريوی در بيمارستان بستری شده است و مسوولان ورزش و فوتبال ايران او را تنها گذاشته اند.

همايون بهزادی فوتبال را در مکتب شاهين و زير نظر زنده ياد دکتر اکرامی آموخت و در جوانی به تيم ملی راه يافت. او مهاجم گلزنی بود که با هر دو پا در دريبل زنی و شليکهای استثنايی توانايی داشت، اما پرشهای بلند و ضربه های دقيق سر با مکثی ويژه در هنگام ضربه او را به عنوان «سرطلايی» مشهور و به عنوان يک گلزن برتر مطرح کرده بود. بهزادی در سطح باشگاهی با شاهين و پس از انحلال شاهين در پرسپوليس بارها به مقام قهرمانی رسيد.

حبرگزاری فارس در خبر بيماری اسطوره سالهای دور فوتبال ايران می نويسد: او چندان حال و روز خوبی ندارد و برای اين که فوتبالی ها را به زحمت نيندازد، آنها را چندان در جريان بيماری خود قرار نداده است.

همايون بهزادی به سختی صحبت می کند. او درباره شرايط خود می گويد:« دو هفته است بستری هستم. در اين مدت ۱۰ کيلو لاغر شده ام. از دوستانی که به ديدارم آمدند، ممنونم. از آقايان جعفر کاشانی، محمد پنجعلی و حسين کازرانی تشکر می ‌کنم. هر کس به ملاقاتم آمده، ممنونشان هستم و هر کس هم نيامده، حتما گرفتاری داشته و گلايه ای ندارم. راضی به رضای خدا هستم و برای مرگ آماده ام.»

The litigator responded, "I shot a duck and it fell in this field, and now I'm going to retrieve it." The old farmer Peter replied, "This is my property, and you are not coming over here." The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial lawyers in Australia and, if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything you own." The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we settle disputes in North Cowra . We settle small disagreements like this with the 'Three Kick Rule.'

The lawyer asked, "What is the 'Three Kick Rule'?"

The Farmer replied, "Well, because the dispute occurs on my land, I get to go first. I kick you three times and then you kick me three times and so on back and forth until someone gives up." The old farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the attorney. The lawyer was on all fours when the farmer's third kick to his rear end, sent him face-first into a fresh cow pie.

Summoning every bit of his will and remaining strength the lawyer very slowly managed to get to his feet. Wiping his face with the arm of his jacket, he said, "Okay, you old fart. Now it's my turn."

The old farmer smiled and said, "Nah, I give up. You can have the duck."

China opposes new EU sanctions on Iran

BEIJING — China said on Friday that it did not approve of tougher new sanctions imposed by the European Union on Iran, and welcomed Tehran's offer to return to negotiations on a nuclear fuel swap without conditions. EU foreign ministers agreed tougher sanctions on Iran on Monday, including action to block oil and gas investment. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu said that China still hoped to solve the thorny issues surrounding Iran's nuclear ambitions through negotiations. "China does not approve of the European Union's unilateral sanctions on Iran," Jiang said in a statement posted on the ministry's website. "We hope that all relevant parties can support a diplomatic solution and appropriately resolve the Iran nuclear issue through dialogue and negotiations. "China also denounced the United States earlier this month for imposing its own sanctions on Iran, saying Washington should not unilaterally take such steps outside of U.N. resolutions. Jiang said in her statement that she welcomed a new Iranian of offer to discuss a fuel swap for a Tehran reactor and hoped it would be helpful to efforts to solve "the Iran nuclear issue through talks and negotiations."

Iran favors talks with EU after Ramadan Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Sunday Iran had expressed willingness to have talks with the EU about its nuclear program after the end of the month of Ramadan.
Speaking before a lunch meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and their Brazilian counterpart Celso Amorim, Davutoglu said Ankara was trying to revive the international negotiations as soon as possible. The West fears Iran’s secretive uranium enrichment program is a veiled quest to develop nuclear weapons capability. Tehran denies this, saying it seeks only electricity from enrichment so it can export more of its oil wealth. Catherine Ashton, the EU’s foreign affairs chief, wrote to Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili last month inviting him to resume negotiations. “Mottaki confirmed that he was in favor of the meeting after Ramadan. Obviously that depends on the flow of developments, but nobody is against holding the meeting in principle,” Davutoglu said. He was referring to comments made by Mottaki before his latest visit to Turkey. The Muslim fasting month of Ramadan ends in the first half of September. “As soon as possible we are trying to start negotiations again between Iran and P5+1 and we will also do our best in order to start the technical negotiations as soon as possible,” the Turkish foreign minister added. The P5+1 comprise the five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council — the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China — as well as Germany who have been locked in a protracted standoff with Iran over its nuclear ambitions. Iran, Turkey and Brazil reached a deal in May under which Tehran agreed to send some of its enrichment uranium stockpile abroad, reviving a plan drafted by U.N. nuclear watchdog with the aim of restraining the disputed program. The accord failed to prevent intensified sanctions from the United Nations, European Union and United States adopted over the past two months. But Davutoglu has said he still saw a chance of Iran doing the swap on the basis of their agreement. Under the May deal, Iran agreed to transfer 1,200 kg (2,646 lb) of low-enriched uranium (LEU) to Turkey within a month and in return receive, within a year, 120 kg of 20 percent-enriched uranium to keep Tehran’s medical research reactor running. But Western diplomats said removing from Iran 1,200 kg — enough, if highly enriched, to make a nuclear weapon — was less significant than when it was first brokered in October last year because Iran’s stockpile had doubled in the interim. At the time of the original deal in principle, which Iran backed out of soon afterwards, 1,200 kg represented about 70 percent of the country’s known LEU reserve. The Security Council imposed a fourth round of sanctions on Iran on June 9. Brazil and Turkey voted against, angry at the West’s dismissal of their deal which they said made new sanctions unnecessary.

ایرانی مقیم کانادا به جرم نقض تحریم‌ها به حبس محکوم شد

دادگاهی در کانادا روز پنج‌شنبه برای یک ایرانی مقیم این کشور به جرم نقض قطعنامه‌های سازمان ملل علیه جمهوری اسلامی و تلاش برای صادرات اقلام مرتبط با برنامه هسته‌ای ایران مجازات زندان تعیین کرد. این ایرانی به نام محمود یادگاری، ۳۷ ساله، به جرم تلاش برای صادرات کالاهایی «با کاربرد دوگانه» روز گذشته در دادگاه به چهار سال و سه ماه حبس در کانادا محکوم شد.

کانادا از جمله کشورهایی است که علاوه بر دور چهارم تحریم‌های شورای امنیت سازمان ملل تحریم‌هایی یک‌جانبه و مضاعف را نیز در قبال جمهوری اسلامی در نظر گرفته است. این کشور روز دوشنبه گذشته در اقدامی هماهنگ با اتحاديه اروپا تحريم‌های يک‌جانبه خود را بر بخش انرژی، سرمايه‌گذاری و بانکداری در برابر ایران نهايی کرد.

در بیانیه دادستان عمومی کانادا در این باره آمده است: «آقای یادگاری در ۴ مارس سال ۲۰۰۹ تلاش کرده است کالاهایی تحت کنترل را از طریق دوبی به ایران صادر کند.» این کالاها که «مبدل فشار» خوانده می‌شوند علاوه بر این که در «فهرست کنترل صادرات کانادا» قرار دارند مشمول تحریم‌های سازمان ملل علیه جمهوری اسلامی نیز هستند. این قطعات که ساخت آمریکاست می‌تواند در نیروگاه‌های اتمی تولید برق و هچنین در تولید بمب اتمی مورد استفاده قرار گیرند. بر اساس تحریم‌های سازمان ملل صادرات این نوع تجهیزات به ایران ممنوع است. به گفته پلیس فدرال کانادا، این قطعات جزء مهمی از دستگاه‌های بزرگ‌تری هستند که می‌توان از آنها برای غنی کردن اورانیوم در حدی که در سلاح اتمی کاربرد دارد استفاده کرد. به گزارش خبرگزاری فرانسه، محمود یادگاری که در ایران به دنیا آمده، اما از سال ۱۹۸۸ در کانادا زندگی کرده است در آوریل سال ۲۰۰۹ به دنبال تحقیقات دوماه مقامات آمریکایی و کانادایی در این زمینه دستگیر و به مقامات قضایی کانادا تحویل داده شد. با توجه به این که دادگاه آنتاریوی کانادا ۱۵/۵ بازداشت پیش از محکومیت آقای یادگاری را دو برابر حساب کرده است، اکنون او تنها باید ۲۰ ماه را در زندان بگذراند. این در حالی است که دادستان عمومی کانادا برای محمود یادگاری شش سال و نیم حبس درخواست کرده بود. دولت‌های غربی بر این باورند که جمهوری اسلامی در پوشش برنامه اتمی خود اهداف نظامی را نیز دنبال می‌کند، اما جمهوری اسلامی ایران ضمن رد این اتهام همواره بر صلح‌آمیز بودن فعالیت‌های اتمی خود تأکید کرده است.

ابهام در پناهندگی جودوکای ملی پوش ايرانی

در فاصله کمتر از يک ماه و نيم تا رقابت های قهرمانی جودوی جهان در ژاپن رسانه های داخلی در مورد پناهندگی وحيد سرلک به کشور هلند از سوی بعضی سايت ها واکنش نشان دادند و با رد آن بر ابهام ها افزودند.

رقابت‌های جودوی قهرمانی جهان در روزهای هجدهم تا بيست و دوم شهريور در توکيو برگزار خواهد شد و تيم ملی ايران اردويی دو هفته‌ای را در کمپ آموزشی فدراسيون جهانی در فرانسه پشت سر خواهد گذاشت.

ابتدا يکی از سايت های داخل ایران گزارش داد: يکی از رزمی کاران مطرح ايرانی مدتی است به عنوان نگهبان در يکی از کافه های کشور هلند مشغول به کار است.

خبرگزاری فارس روز جمعه عنوان کرد: « با رد خبر پناهندگی، وحيد سرلک با نام ايران در مسابقات جودوی يوروکاپ هامبورگ شرکت می ‌کند.»

به نوشته اين خبرگزاری وحيد سرلک که اکنون با تيم آخن آلمان برای حضور در بوندس ليگا تمرين می کند، شايعه پناهندگی خود را تکذيب کرد و گفت: «نمی ‌دانم اين خبر را چه کسانی مطرح کرده اند. اصلاً هلند نيستم که بخواهم پناهنده شوم. نمی دانم چرا برخی نمی خواهند جودو آرامش داشته باشد. در آلمان مشغول تمرين هستم تا هم برای تيم باشگاهی خود در اينجا مبارزات خوبی به نمايش بگذرام و هم برای مسابقات جهانی آماده شوم.»

آن چه بر ابهام اين خبر می افزايد بازتاب تکذيب در خبرگزاری مهر با يک نوشته و محتوی است که به نظر می آيد به صورت يک اطلاعيه به خبرگزاريها ارسال شده است و نه با گفت و گو با وحيد سرلک که در صورت عادی بودن شرايط تماس با او کار دشواری نيست و نمی تواند نگارشی يکسان داشته باشد.

در اين دو خبرگزاری از ربان سرلک آمده است: با مربيان تيم ملی به خصوص حاج يوسف زاده سرمربی تيم ملی در تماس هستم. به ايشان اعلام کردم به دليل قرارداد با تيم آخن آلمان نمی توانم به تهران بيايم.

سرمربی تيم ملی هم موافقت کرد تا در اردوی فرانسه به تيم ملحق شوم و همانجا ديدار انتخابی خود را برگزار کنم.

خبرگزاری مهر در پايان يادآور شده است: حضور طولانی مدت سرلک در اروپا و غيبت وی در مسابقات انتخابی تيم ملی جودو باعث شده بود تا شايعه پناهندگی وی در هلند مطرح شود. او برای رسيدن به آمادگی از سوی فدراسيون جودو رهسپار آمستردام شد و به تهران بازنگشت. در خبرها آمده بود که او با عقد قرارداد با تيم آخن آلمان به رقابت های بوندسليگا پيوسته است.

عليرضا امينی، رييس فدراسيون جودو در اين مورد به خبرگزاری فارس گفت: « اصلاً درباره ماندن در هلند و عدم بازگشت سرلک خبر ندارم و چيزی هم در اين زمينه نشنيده‌ام. بالاخره اين همه ورزشکار پناهنده شده اند؛ مگر فدراسيون مقصر است يا ما خواسته ايم که چنين اتفاقی بيافتد.»

او افزود: «ما او را به آلمان نفرستاده ايم و خودش با اين باشگاه وارد مذاکره شده و با آنها تمرين می کند.» .

What Do You Lack? Probably Vitamin D

Vitamin D promises to be the most talked-about and written-about supplement of the decade. While studies continue to refine optimal blood levels and recommended dietary amounts, the fact remains that a huge part of the population — from robust newborns to the frail elderly, and many others in between are deficient in this essential nutrient. If the findings of existing clinical trials hold up in future research, the potential consequences of this deficiency are likely to go far beyond inadequate bone development and excessive bone loss that can result in falls and fractures. Every tissue in the body, including the brain, heart, muscles and immune system, has receptors for vitamin D, meaning that this nutrient is needed at proper levels for these tissues to function well. Studies indicate that the effects of a vitamin D deficiency include an elevated risk of developing (and dying from) cancers of the colon, breast and prostate; high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease; osteoarthritis; and immune-systmabnormalities that can result in infections and autoimmune disorders like multiple sclerosis, Type 1 diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis. Most people in the modern world have lifestyles that prevent them from acquiring the levels of vitamin D that evolution intended us to have. The sun’s ultraviolet-B rays absorbed through the skin are the body’s main source of this nutrient.

Although more foods today are supplemented with vitamin D, experts say it is rarely possible to consume adequate amounts through foods. The main dietary sources are wild-caught oily fish (salmon, mackerel, bluefish, and canned tuna) and fortified milk and baby formula, cereal and orange juice.

The rising incidence of Type 1 diabetes may be due, in part, to the current practice of protecting the young from sun exposure. When newborn infants in Finland were given 2,000 international units a day, Type 1 diabetes fell by 88 percent.

The current recommended intake of vitamin D, established by the Institute of Medicine, is 200 I.U. a day from birth to age 50 (including pregnant women); 400 for adults aged 50 to 70; and 600 for those older than 70. While a revision upward of these amounts is in the works, most experts expect it will err on the low side. Some doctors recommend a daily supplement of 1,000 to 2,000 units for all sun-deprived individuals, pregnant and lactating women, and adults older than 50. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that breast-fed infants receive a daily supplement of 400 units until they are weaned and consuming a quart or more each day of fortified milk or formula.

Can You Get Too Much?

If acquired naturally through skin, the body’s supply of vitamin D has a built-in cutoff. When enough is made, further exposure to sunlight will destroy any excess. Not so when the source is an ingested supplement, which goes directly to the liver. Symptoms of vitamin D toxicity include nausea, vomiting, poor appetite, constipation, weakness and weight loss, as well as dangerous amounts of calcium that can result in kidney stones, confusion and abnormal heart rhythms.

It is very hard to reach such toxic levels. Healthy adults have taken 10,000 I.U. a day for six months or longer with no adverse effects. People with a serious vitamin D deficiency are often prescribed weekly doses of 50,000 units until the problem is corrected. To minimize the risk of any long-term toxicity, these experts recommend that adults take a daily supplement of 1,000 to 2,000 units.

Obama Strikes Iran’s Heart with Pesky Flies

On July 1^st, Barack Obama approved the introduction of additional sanctions against Iran. The president hopes that the USA’s new sanctions will strike Iran at the heart of its nuclear program.

The US Congress prepared the package of additional sanctions at the end if June. The sanctions restrict cooperation with enterprises servicing the needs of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Coprs., which Washington previously announced a terrorist organization. From now on, US financial structures will not be allowed to cooperate with bank structures of other countries working with the Iranian Guards.

The document also stipulates the total ban of the export of petroleum products to Iran and a whole list of penalties for those who violate the ban. Iran, being one of the top producers of oil, receives petrol and aviation fuel from abroad.

Obama stated that the package of sanctions, which he had signed, was the toughest, which the Congress had ever approved against Teheran. Obama said that he was against such strict measures, but Iran’s stubbornness about its nuclear program forced him to revise his previous stance.

The US administration, Obama said, would like to teach Iran a lesson. “It's a punishment to teach them a lesson to know how to have a dialogue with nations,” he said.

However, the USA is not going to burn bridges in its relations with the Islamic Republic.

"To date, Iran has chosen the path of defiance," Obama said at the signing ceremony, where he accused Tehran of spurning offers for dialogue.

"The door to diplomacy remains open. Iran can prove that its intentions are peaceful. It can meet its obligations under the [nuclear non-proliferation treaty) and achieve the security and prosperity worthy of a great nation," Obama said.

What is the point of extra sanctions? In June, the UN Security Council introduced extensive financial and military sanctions against the nation. On June 9, the Council extended the list of legal entities and natural persons that must be treated with greater precautions. The list includes the head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization Jawad Rahiki, 22 state-run and private organizations, including universities, 15 firms connected with the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps., and three other companies.

In addition, the Security Council allowed UN members to block the accounts of natural persons, Iranian citizens, ban the opening of branch offices of Iranian banks abroad, conclude transactions with Iranian banks, and any other financial operations on their territories in case there is a suspicion that they could be linked with the nuclear program.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stated that no sanctions would make his country change the course to realize the national nuclear program. He said that the sanctions were useless and compared them to flies.

"These (U.N.) resolutions have no value...it is like a used handkerchief that should be thrown in the waste bin. Sanctions are falling on us from the left and the right. For us they are the same as pesky flies...We have patience and we will endure throughout all of this," he said.

Iran has not been able to convince Washington of the peaceful character of its nuclear program. Russia stood strongly against the USA’s and EU’s sanctions against Iran on June 9. Russia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry stated that such sanctions were unacceptable.

Foreign experts believe that the sanctions would cause damage to Russia’s interests too. Nevertheless, the USA had its own way again to demonstrate its determination against Iran, without anyone else’s support.

Will the new measures be effective? It goes without saying that Iran may have hard times once it has no fuel. However, will Teheran’s previous partners be willing to terminate mutually beneficial cooperation with the Islamic Republic?

US experts believe that Iran will never stop its nuclear program, and no sanctions would make the nation scrap up the program.

شرکت های نفتی نيز شامل تحريم های جديد هستند: شرکت هايی که بنزين، سوختِ جت و محصولات تصفيه شده نفتی را به ايران صادر کنند، شرکت هايی که دانش و خدمات برای گسترش محصولات نفتی را در اختيار ايران قرار دهند، شرکت هايی که به افزايش ظرفيت توليد بنزين ايران کمک کنند و يا حتی نقش واسطه در اين رابطه داشته باشند، تحريم خواهند شد.
در صورت تحريم اين شرکت ها، رييس جمهوری آمريکا نوع آن را انتخاب خواهد کرد: از جمله ممنوعيت تبادل ارز، ممنوعيت معاملات اعتباری از طريق بانکهای آمريکايی، و ممنوعيت معامله املاک با شرکت ها و شهروندان آمريکايی.
در موارد خاصی، رييس جمهوری ايالات متحده می تواند برخی شرکت های خارجی را به مدت يک سال از تحريم ها مستثنی کند. اين استثناء در صورتی است که آن شرکت، از کشوری باشد که با تلاش های چند جانبه برای انزوای ايران، همکاری داشته باشد و همچنين رييس جمهوری به کنگره شهادت دهد که اين مسأله برای حفظ منافع ملی آمريکا ضروری است.
اين لايحه همچنين رييس جمهوری ايالات متحده را موظف کرده است که فهرست افرادی که مسؤل نقض حقوق بشر در ايران هستند را برای عموم اعلام کند. افراد مذکور از دريافت ويزا به ايالات متحده محروم می شوند و منابع مالی آنها در بانکهای آمريکايی مسدود خواهد شد.

درخواست ۱+۵ از ایران برای از سرگیری گفت‌ و گوهای هسته‌ای

با وجود امضای قانون تشدید تحریم‌های یک جانبه ایالات متحده آمریکا علیه جمهوری اسلامی توسط باراک اوباما، نمایندگان کشورهای عضو گروه پنج بعلاوه یک در بروکسل گرد هم آمده و از ایران خواسته‌اند به پای میز مذاکرات هسته‌ای بازگردد. به گزارش خبرگزاری فرانسه، با وجود تشدید تحریم‌ها علیه جمهوری اسلامی، ایالات متحده آمریکا روز جمعه اعلام کرد، کشورهای طرف مذاکره بر سر برنامه هسته‌ای ایران همچنان آماده گفت و گو با این کشور هستند بر اساس اعلام وزارت خارجه ایالات متحده آمریکا، ویلیام برنز، دیپلمات ارشد آمریکایی در بروکسل با نمایندگان بریتانیا، چین، فرانسه، آلمان، روسیه و اتحادیه اروپا دیدار و با آنها در باره گام‌های بعدی در مناقشه برسر برنامه هسته‌ای ایران رایزنی کرده است. مارک تونر، یکی از سخنگویان وزارت خارجه آمریکا در باره جزئیات نشست نمایندگان کشورهای عضو گروه پنج بعلاوه یک در بروکسل، به خبرنگاران گفته است: « این کشورها پیشنهاد خود را در مورد انجام گفت‌ و گو با ایران بر سر موضوع هسته‌ای این کشور تکرار کرده و تاکید کرده‌اند، درها روی ایران همچنان باز است.»

این در حالی است که پیشتر محمود احمدی‌نژاد، رئیس دولت دهم اعلام کرده بود، تهران به منظور «ادب کردن» کشورهایی که به قطعنامه جدید شورای امنیت علیه جمهوری اسلامی رای داده‌اند، تا دو ماه دیگر با آنها درباره برنامه هسته‌ای خود گفت و گو نخواهد کرد.

از سوی دیگر پنج عضو دائم شورای امنیت سازمان ملل متحد و آلمان در جریان نشست خود در بروکسل در باره «اهمیت اجرای فوری» آخرین قطعنامه تحریمی شورای امنیت سازمان ملل متحد علیه ایران نیز به توافق رسیده‌اند با این حال باراک اوباما، رئیس جمهور ایالات متحده که بلافاصله پس از روی کار آمدن خواستار گفت و گوی مستقیم با ایران شده بود، روز پنج‌شنبه و در مراسم امضای قانون تحریم‌های یکجانبه کشورش علیه ایران بار دیگر از بازبودن راه گفت و گو برای حل تنش بر سر برنامه هسته‌ای ایران خبر داده است.

همچنین مارک تونر، سخنگوی وزارت امور خارجه آمریکا نیز اعلام کرده است، کشورهای طرف مذاکره هسته‌ای با ایران از پیشنهاد کاترین اشتون، مسئول سیاست خارجی اتحادیه اروپا برای مذاکره با ایران حمایت کرده‌اند.

مسئول سیاست خارجی اتحادیه اروپا حدود یک ماه پیش با ارسال نامه‌ای به سعید جلیلی، مذاکره‌ کننده ارشد هسته‌ای جمهوری اسلامی، از وی برای شرکت در دور تازه گفت و گوها بر سر برنامه هسته‌ای ایران دعوت کرده بود.

هرچند جمهوری اسلامی تاکنون به این پیشنهاد پاسخی نداده است، با این حال منوچهر متکی، وزیر خارجه ایران به تازگی گفته است، پاسخ تهران به نامه مسئول سیاست خارجی اتحادیه اروپا همچنان در دست تهیه است

ايران کميته‌ای را مامور شناسايی «شرکت‌های صهیونیستی» کرد

در حالی که محمود احمدی نژاد دستور تشکيل کميته‌ای برای تعيين فهرست تحريمی محصولات «شرکت‌های صهیونیستی» را صادر کرده است، نشريه «جروزالم پست» مدعی شده است که رييس جمهوری ايران شرکت‌های کوکا کولا، ای بی ام، اينتل، و نستله را در اين فهرست قرار داده است.

محمود احمدی‌نژاد روز چهارشنبه در چارچوب اجرای قانون «اصلاح قانون حمايت از انقلاب اسلامی مردم فلسطين مصوب ۱۳۶۹ » که در نوزدهم خردادماه سال جاری در مجلس شورای اسلامی تصويب و به تاييد شورای نگهبان رسيده است دستور داد کميته‌ای تخصصی برای تهیه فهرست «شرکت‌های صهیونیستی» تشکیل شود.

طبق اين قانون اين کميته متشکل است از «وزارتخانه‌های امور خارجه، امور اقتصادی و دارايی، بازرگانی، اطلاعات، نفت، بانک مرکزی و سازمان صدا و سيما» است و وظيفه دارد تا «فهرست کامل شرکت‌ها و مؤسسات و کمپانی‌های صهيونيستی در سطح جهان و فهرست اشخاص حقوقی و حقيقی موضوح تحريم را به صورت شفاف ظرف دو ماه از تصويب اين قانون ارائه و به صورت ساليانه و يا حسب ضرورت به روزرسانی کند.»

طبق اين قانون، وزارت امور خارجه ایران نیز موظف شده است است در «فرصت‌های مقتضی در مجامع جهانی و اجلاس‌های بين‌المللی از جمله سازمان کنفرانس اسلامی و اجلاس غيرمتعهدها، طرح تحريم کالاهای رژيم صهيونيستی را مطرح و جهت درج در بيانيه‌ها و قطعنامه‌ها پيشنهاد دهد».

اين قانون همچنين صدا و سيمای جمهوری اسلامی را موظف کرده است تا «طبق فهرست ارائه شده توسط کميته تخصصی از تبليغ هر نوع کالای شرکت‌های صهيونيستی خودداری کند».

اين قانون توسط محمود احمدی‌نژاد روز چهارشنبه نهم تيرماه ابلاغ شده است و هنوز مشخص نيست که اين کميته تشکيل شده است يانه.

اين در حالی است که وب سايت روزنامه اسرائيلی «جروزالم پست» نوشته است در فهرستی که توسط دولت دهم از شرکت‌های «صهيونيستی» تهيه شده و پخش تبليغ محصولات آنها ممنوع شده، نام شرکت‌‌های «کوکا کولا، ای بی ام، اينتل، و نستله» قرار دارد.

حضور خبرساز فرنگی‌کار ایرانی در مسابقات انتخاباتی تیم ملی آذربایجان

سامان طهماسبی، کشتی‌گیر سنندجی شرکت‌کننده در رقابت‌های کشتی فرنگی المپیک ۲۰۰۸ پکن و قهرمان پیشین جوانان جهان با حضور ناگهانی در کشتی انتخابی تیم ملی جمهوری آذربایجان، بحث در مورد مسئله ترک تابعیت ایران را در رسانه‌های داخلی رقم زد.

خبرگزاری دانشجویان ایران با اعلام این خبر که «سامان طهماسبی در مسابقه‌های کشتی قهرمانی جمهوری آذربایجان شرکت کرد» آن را خبری برای ورزش ایران بهت‌آور خواند. خبرگزاری فارس نیز از حضور آقای طهماسبی در رقابت‌های «انتخابی تیم ملی جمهوری آذربایجان» خبر داده است.

سامان طهماسبی عضو تیم ملی کشتی فرنگی ایران در سال‌های اخير بود و دو مقام سومی در رقابت‌های قهرمانی جهان و یک مدال طلا در قهرمانی آسیا را در پیشینه کاری‌اش دارد.

بر پایه گزارش ایسنا، طهماسبی به دلیل بی‌توجهی مسئولان ورزش و فدراسیون کشتی جمهوری اسلامی و همچنین مشکلات مالی که باعث ترک نیمه‌کاره تحصیلات دانشگاهی‌اش شد، به باکو رفت و با عنوان قهرمانی در مسابقه‌های این کشور پنج هزار دلار پول نقد و به مدت یک سال هر ماه ۷۵۰ دلار پاداش گرفت تا در این یک سال مشکل مالی نداشته باشد.

دو هفته پیش از کوچ ناگهانی این کشتی‌گیر کرد به جمهوری آذربایجان، او در گفت‌وگویی با ایسنا به عنوان پرافتخارترین کشتی‌گیر استان کردستان و پرافتخارترین فرنگی‌کار ایران پس از حمید سوریان، گفته بود که چهار سال است فقط حرف شنیده است و به عنوان یک قهرمان ملی نه شغل دارد و نه مسکن.

او گفته بود: «مشکلاتم زياد است و بدتر آن است که يک قهرمان صبح تا شب دنبال مسئولين بدود ولی نتيجه‌ای نگيرد... از اين طرف هيچکس پاسخگوی مشکل من نيست و از طرف ديگر در حالی که مربی‌ام در اردوی تيم ملی است، به اردو هم دعوت نمی‌‌شوم تا بتوانم بهتر تمرين کنم».

جمشید خیرآبادی، مربی سازنده او و یکی از مربیان تیم ملی، در گفت‌وگو با روابط عمومی فدراسیون کشتی هشدار داده بود که شاگردش با شرایط بدی زندگی می‌کند و تصریح کرده بود که «به عنوان مربی سازنده‌ او، واقعاً متأسفم که نمی‌توانيم اين فرنگی کار بسيار خوب و جوان کشورمان که تازه به مرحله‌ پختگی رسيده است را در اردوهای تيم ملی در اختيار داشته باشيم».

محمدعلی صنعتکاران قهرمان پیشین کشتی جهان و نایب رئیس فدراسیون کشتی ایران در مورد ماجراهای رخ داده برای سامان طهماسبی گفت: «تنها بايد بگويم متأسفم. هرچه هم به يک ورزشکار بی‌‌توجهی شود، در درجه اول عرق ملی اهميت دارد و نبايد آن را فراموش کند، ولی مسئولين ورزش هم به هوش باشند».

خبرگزاری فارس در این مورد عنوان کرد که پس از انتشار خبر حضور فرنگی ‌کار ايرانی در انتخابی آذربايجان، شفیعی مدیرکل تربیت بدنی استان کردستان که در سفر خارجی به سر می‌برد، تلفنی گفت: «بعيد می‌‌دانم سامان طهماسبی تغيير مليت داده باشد».

به نوشته این خبرگزاری «گفت‌وگو با دارنده دو مدال برنز کشتي فرنگی جهان در روزهای اخير ميسر نشده است».

Do not eat foods that contain soda, sodium, Na, monosodium glutamate, baking soda and preservatives. Read the food labels carefully. With herbs, spices, garlic and onions, you can make your food tasty without salt.

UN Security Council adopts new Iran sanctions resolution

UNITED NATIONS, June 9– The UN Security Council on Wednesday (June 9, 2010) adopted a resolution to impose the fourth round of sanctions against Iran over its suspect nuclear program.

The resolution was approved by the 15-member council by a vote of 12 in favor. Brazil and Turkey voted against and Lebanon abstained.

Maria Luiza Ribeiro Viotti, Brazil's permanent representative to the United Nations, told an open Council meeting before the vote that "the adoption of sanctions runs contrary to the successful efforts of Brazil and Turkey in a negotiated ( opportunity ) in regards to its trade program."

"The Tehran declaration showed that dialogue and cooperation can do more than punitive action," she said.

For his part, Frtugrul Apakan, the Turkish permanent representative to the United Nations, said at the Council meeting: "We are deeply concerned that adoption sanctions will negatively affect the momentum created by the declaration and the overall diplomatic process."

The nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, of which Tehran is a signatory, guarantees members the right to explore the peaceful uses of nuclear power. But, Iran's history of hiding a nuclear program in the past, its failure to cooperate with the IAEA and its development of long-range missiles capable of carrying a nuclear weapon fueled the nuclear weapon fears and led to the resolution.

This fourth round of sanctions bans new categories of weapons to be imported into Iran. It bans Iran's ability to engage in any activities related to ballistic missiles that could be capable of launching nuclear weapons.

It imposes asset freezes on 40 new entities, more than triple the number of previous resolutions. It imposes new restrictions on financial activities, banking activities, including correspondent banking, including insurance and reinsurance that could contribute to Iran's nuclear or proliferation activities.

It imposes a comprehensive cargo inspection regime to prevent Iran from continuing to smuggle contraband cargo. It is something that Iran fought very hard to prevent passage today.

Travel and financial restrictions also were imposed on more officials and institutions, and the resolution has a qualified call for the boarding and inspection of ships heading for Iran. That can be carried out only if the country whose flag the vessel flies agrees to inspections.

The sanctions do not include restrictions on gas imports to Iran, a possibility the United States had floated but which China and Russia opposed.

Iran warned before the vote that it would break off negotiations with the United States and its allies if new sanctions were put in place. After the vote, Ahmadinejad said they were like a "used handkerchief that should be dumped in a garbage can”. He also said “they cannot harm the Iranian nation”. Itar-Tass news agency reported that Ahmadinejad will not attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Uzbekistan.

Will the sanction get Iran to change its strategic calculations? Will it change its whole approach to dealing with the IAEA in allowing fuller inspections? I doubt it. I just don't think it will have that impact. This sanction lost its effectiveness when restriction on gas import to Iran and oil export were removed from it. This sanction showed how isolated Ahmadinejad is. It also made it more difficult and costly for Iran to trade with other countries.

"ملزومات ازدواج" به روایت دولت محمود احمدی‌نژاد

سازمان ملی جوانان که از تیرماه ۸۸، ریاستش را مهرداد بذرپاش، یکی از معاونان محمود احمدی‌نژاد بر عهده دارد، شنبه ۲۲ اسفند، پایگاه اینترنتی "ساج" را به عنوان «اولین سامانه آموزش مسائل مربوط به ازدواج جوانان» راه اندازی کرد.

محمد مهدی رضازاده رئیس این سایت و معاون بذرپاش ۱۹ اسفند خبر داد دوره‌های آموزشی سه ماهه‌ای در نظر گرفته شده و «به جوانانی كه این دوره‌ها را با موفقیت طی كنند، گواهینامه تخصصی ازدواج اعطا‌ می‌شود.» رضازاده به خبرگزاری فارس گفت: «به دنبال این هستیم كه تا ۲ سال آینده اگر پسری به خواستگاری دختری رفت، دخترخانم «به شرطی» جواب بدهد كه خواستگار این دوره‌ها را گذرانده باشد.»

به گفته‌ی رضازاده در این دوره‌ها به آموزش مسائلی چون «احراز شرایط ازدواج، خودشناسی، شرایط انتخاب همسر، تحقیق و روش‌های آشنایی و آداب خواستگاری پرداخته خواهد شد.» او می‌گوید، نگرانی از افزایش آمار طلاق و کاهش ازدواج باعث شد که آذر ماه سال گذشته پیشنهاد تشکیل این دوره‌های آموزشی با محمود احمدی‌نژاد مطرح شود که با موافقت او اکنون وار د مرحله اجرایی شده است.

سرفصل درس‌هایی که قرار است طی شانزده هفته به متقاضیان آموخته شود در سایت «ساج» درج شده است. در این پایگاه اینترنتی ضمن اشاره به شرایط عمومی که دختران و پسران شایسته ازدواج باید داشته باشند، ویژگی‌های مورد نیاز هر جنس نیز جداگانه تشریح شده است. به تشخیص سازمان ملی جوانان «پیوند عملی با اهل بیت، اطاعت خداوند، نماز اول وقت، برائت از دشمنان، پیروی از ولایت فقیه، ... عدم ابتلا به بیماری‌های پیش‌رونده و سخت درمان، و تفاوت سنی مناسب» از جمله شرایط عمومی برای شایستگی ازدواج محسوب می‌شود.

در توضیحات سامانه آموزش ازدواج، برای مردان «قدرت، چهارشانگی، شهرت اجتماعی، توان دفاعی، دست و دلبازی و سلامت جنسی» و برای دختران «تناسب اندام، ظرافت مو و ابرو، ظرافت صدا، ‌حیا، عفت و پاكدامنی» از جمله شرایط لازم برای شایستگی ازدواج ذکر شده است.

نقش چین در ورشکستگی بازار سراجی تهران

محمد‌علی شکیب راد رئیس اتحادیه سراجان تهران در گفت‌وگوئی با خبرگزاری کار ایران (ایلنا) از تعطیل بسیاری از کارگاه‌های سراجی پایتخت ایران خبر داده است. به گفته شکیب راد، این واحدهای تولیدی و کارگران آن‌ها مجبور شده‌اند به مشاغل دیگر روی بیاورند.

۸۰ درصد کالای چینی

رئیس اتحادیه سراجان تهران، دلیل بحران و ورشکستگی در صنعت سراجی را ورود بی‌رویه کالاهای ارزان چینی به بازار می‌داند. وی به خبرنگار ایلنا گفته است:«ظرف ۶ سال گذشته، ورود کالاهای سراجی چین، به ویژه کیف و متعلقات آن، عامل اصلی ورشکستگی واحدهای تولیدی نساجی بوده است.»

بررسی‌های اتحادیه سراجان نشان می‌دهد که در حال حاضر ۸۰ درصد بازار سراجی را کالاهای چینی پر کرده‌اند که بدون توجه به تاثیری که بر بازار کار ایران می‌گذارند، وارد کشور می‌شوند.

محمدعلی شکیب راد گفته است:«بزرگترین مشکل صنایع سراجی، عدم کنترل ورود کالاهای چینی است که کیفیتی پائين دارند.»

مشکل صنعت نساجی

به‌رغم کیفیت بد، کالاهای چینی امکان رقابت را از صنایع بومی سلب می‌کنند. وضعیتی مشابه در بسیاری از رشته‌های تولیدی ایران مشاهده می‌شود.

صنایع نساجی ایران نیز، در سال‌های اخیر، متاثر از ورود پارچه‌ها و پوشاک چینی، از رونق افتاده است.

ستایش رسانه های دولتی ایران از ارغوان رضایی

قهرمانی ارغوان رضایی تنیس باز ایرانی الاصل در اوپن مادرید، با واکنش مثبت رسانه های دولتی در ایران مواجه شده است.

شبکه برون مرزی جام جم از خانم رضایی برای حضور در گفتگویی زنده دعوت کرده است. این در حالی است که صدا و سیمای جمهوری اسلامی ایران طی 32 سال گذشته حتی یک ثانیه هم تنیس زنان را پخش نکرده است.

اخبار ورزشی نیمروزی شبکه سوم سیما، برای بانوان به صورت جداگانه پخش می شود و گوینده اش زن است. در این بخش خبری، تاکنون چند بار هنگام خواندن اخبار تنیس زنان، به جای استفاده از تصاویر زنان تنیس باز، عکس راجر فدرر و رافائل نادال پخش شده است.

خبرگزاری فارس درباره قهرمانی ارغوان نوشته است: كسانی كه تنيس حرفه ‌ای را دنبال می كنند خوب می ‌دانند (این پیروزی) چه لحظه بزرگی برای رضايی‏‏، خانواده او و البته ايرانيان سراسر جهان محسوب می شود.

ستایش رسانه های دولتی و دعوت صدا و سیما از یک ورزشکار زن که با پوشش رایج تنیس حرفه ای در رقابت های بین المللی حضور می یابد، در نوع خود بی سابقه بوده است.

در جریان انتخابات ریاست جمهوری سال گذشته ارغوان رضایی دو راکت به محمود احمدی نژاد اهدا کرده بود که با انتقادهای زیادی مواجه شد.

پدر ارغوان به سایت تابناک گفته است: "قبل از المپیک پکن درخواست دادیم ارغوان برای ایران در المپیک بازی کند اما متاسفانه فدراسیون تنیس ایران گفت نمی ‏شود."

منتقدان می گویند سنت شکنی و تغییر رویه آشکار رسانه های دولتی، به خاطر اهدای آن دو راکت در انتخابات 22 خرداد است که در تبلیغات آقای احمدی نژاد مورد استفاده قرار گرفت.

ارسلان رضایی پدر ارغوان که مربی و مدیر برنامه های او هم هست در این باره می گوید: ارغوان این دو راکت را به آقای احمدی نژاد نداد، به ملت ایران داد. او این راکت‏ها را به مردم ایران به این خاطر داد که بگوید من با این راکت‏ها در میدان‏ها می‏ جنگم و الا آقا احمدی نژاد یک کسی هست که تمام می‏شود و می‏رود، اما این راکت ‏های تنیس برای ملت ایران است.

آقای رضایی در عین حال تاکید می کند: دخترم وارد سیاست نمی‏شود. ارغوان از بچگی نه جشن تولد داشته و نه تعطیلات. او همیشه در ورزش بوده و فقط ورزش کرده است.

'۹۹ درصد ابتلا به ایدز در ایران از راه ارتباط جنسی'

بیماران شناسایی شده مبتلا به ویروس ایدز در این کشور از طریق ارتباط جنسی به این بیماری مبتلا شده اند.

مینو محرز، رئیس مرکز تحقیقات ایدز وزارت بهداشت ایران روز دوشنبه ۱۷ خرداد (۷ ژوئن) به خبرگزاری فارس در ایران گفت: "اگر نگویم ۱۰۰ درصد، باید بگویم ۹۹ درصد موارد جدید شناسایی شده ابتلا به بیماری ایدز مواردی است که از طریق ارتباط جنسی غیر ایمن مبتلا شده اند."

خانم محرز وضعیت انتقال بیماری ایدز در ایران را نگران کننده توصیف کرد و گفت که در برخورد با مبتلایان با افراد جوانی رو به رو شده است که افرادی "روشن، امروزی و آشنا به اینترنت و تکنولوژی های روز" بوده اند، اما آگاهی های آنها به خصوص درباره کنترل بیماری ایدز کم بوده است.

پیش تر نیز، کارشناسان و مقامات بهداشتی ایران از افزایش آمار ابتلا به ویروس اچ آی وی از طریق رابطه جنسی ناایمن، هشدار داده بودند و با توجه به جمعیت جوان این کشور خواستار توجه بیشتر به آموزش همگانی در زمینه روابط جنسی شده بودند.

خانم محرز در ادامه از کنترل "تقریبی" انتقال ویروس از طریق اعتیاد خبر داد و گفت: " اگر موارد محدودی به علت تزریق مشترک و اعتیاد به این بیماری مبتلا شده و امروز شناسایی شوند، موارد مربوط به گذشته است که اکنون شناسایی می شوند."

این درحالی است که نزدیک به دو ماه پیش تر وزارت بهداشت درمان و آموزش پزشکی ایران، با انتشار آماری از حاملان ویروس اچ آی وی (عامل بیماری ایدز)، آلودگی از طریق سرنگ آلوده و اعتیاد تزریقی را نخستین عامل ابتلا به بیماری ایدز و ارتباط جنسی را دومین راه انتقال ویروس این بیماری در ایران عنوان کرده بود.

بر اساس این آمار تا ابتدای فروردین ماه گذشته نزدیک به ۲۱ هزار نفر حامل ویروس اچ آی وی در ایران شناسایی شده اند که از این تعداد بیش از ۹۲ درصد را مردان و کمتر از ۸ درصد را زنان تشکیل می دهند.

در آمار اعلام شده وزارت بهداشت، ارتباط جنسی با نزدیک ۱۸ درصد دومین عامل اصلی انتقال ویروس اچ آی وی در ایران عنوان شده بود که در مقایسه با آمار مشابه سال ۱۳۶۵ دو برابر افزایش یافته است.

بیش از دو دهه از ورود ویروس اچ آی وی به ایران می گذرد و نخستین مورد ابتلا کودکی شش ساله بود که به دلیل تزریق فرآورده خونی آلوده به ویروس اچ آی وی مبتلا شد.

بیماری ایدز، چهارمین بیماری کشنده در جهان است و هم اکنون بیش از ۴۰ میلیون نفر در سراسر جهان حامل ویروس اچ آی وی هستند.

Bubbling Spring, also known as Kidney-1, is on the bottom of your foot, at the center of the indentation below the ball of your foot. Press down with your thumb, hold for 30 seconds, relax for five, and again continue for five minutes.

For a deep, calming sleep, try to do 10 minutes of acupressure each night.

2- A traditional sedative: Jujube seed

In Chinese medicine it is thought that the heart houses the spirit. When the heart is weak, the spirit becomes restless and cannot properly rest at night, which you experience as insomnia or poor, unrefreshing sleep. The herbal remedy for this condition is the seed of the jujube date. A traditional sedative, jujube seed calms the spirit, strengthens the heart, and supports a good night’s sleep. Research has shown that this seed is rich in saponins, which promote relaxation and sleep while reducing irritability and anxiety. A typical dosage is 500 mg a day. Look for jujube seed in health food stores, online, and from acupuncturists and Chinese herbalists, where it is often combined in a formula with other natural herbs.

You might also try traditional herbal formulations that contain sleep-enhancing herbs. UN Security Council discuss Iran sanctions
The United States, Russia, Britain, France and China have voiced their support in making the Middle East a nuclear weapons-free zone. This would ultimately force Israel to scrap any atomic arms it has.
In a joint statement, the five countries hoped to win Arab backing to enforce sanctions against Iran over its nuclear program. But, Washington says the nuclear weapons free zone can't be established yet. U.S. support for the zone could be unwelcome to Israel, which has said it'll only consider the move once there is Middle East peace.

Britain, China, France, Russia and the United States, the five recognized nuclear countries under the NPT, issued a joint statement to air their viewpoints on nuclear weapons on the sidelines of the current NPT Review Conference.

"The proliferation risks presented by the Iranian nuclear program remain of serious concern to us," the statement said. "We underscore the importance of Iran's full and immediate compliance with its international obligations."

"We urge Iran to respond to the concerns of the international community by complying promptly and fully with the relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions and with the requirements of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)," it said.

The five powers also voiced their support to the establishment of the Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zone in the Middle East, saying, "We are committed to a full implementation of the 1995 NPT resolution on the Middle East and we support all ongoing efforts to this end. "

"We are ready to consider all relevant proposals in the course of the Review Conference in order to come to an agreed decision aimed at taking concrete steps in this direction," it said.

"We urge all States to take all appropriate national measures in accordance with their national authorities and legislation and consistent with international law, to prevent proliferation financing and shipments, to strengthen export controls, to secure sensitive materials, and to control transfers of intangible technology," the statement said.

On the peaceful use of nuclear energy, the statement said, "We recognise the inalienable right of all States Party to the NPT reflected in Article IV to develop research, production and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes without discrimination and in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Treaty and the relevant principles on safeguards."

"We note the increasing demand for nuclear energy and stress its potential in addressing climate change, in facilitating achievement of the Millennium Development Goals and sustainable development, in providing energy security and in addressing vital non-power applications such as nuclear medicine, agriculture and industry," it said.

"We underline the particular importance of international co- operation, both through the IAEA and bilaterally, for States Party new to nuclear technology," it said. "We are ready to work actively with States Party wishing to develop nuclear energy for peaceful uses consistent with their NPT and IAEA safeguards obligations."

"We call for the development of nuclear energy in a culture of openness and transparency, which builds confidence amongst neighbors and stress the importance of promoting the sustainable development of peaceful nuclear energy with in a framework that ensures effective safety, security, non-proliferation conditions, and arrangements for civil nuclear liability for the benefit of all," it said.

"Seeking a safer world for all and creating the conditions for a world without nuclear weapons in accordance with the goals of the NPT will require determined, long-term international co- operation based on common interest," the statement said. "Our commitment to this goal is unshakable."

Iran to launch two telecom satellites in 2010

A senior official of Iran's Ministry of Telecommunications, Mohammad Hosseinpour, said Monday that Iran will launch two telecommunication satellites in 2010, local satellite Press TV reported. If everything goes according to the plan, two telecommunication satellites will be launched by the year's end, Hosseinpour was quoted as saying. The new satellites, which are designed and produced to decrease telecom traffic between Russia and Europe, will be equipped with filming applications and data-image transmission sensors, according to Press TV. In February, Iran successfully test-fired a satellite rocket and unveiled three new satellites and a satellite carrier. The "Kavosh 3" (Explore 3) rocket carrying an "experimental capsule" has been successfully test-fired and will transfer telemetric data, live pictures and flight and environmental analysis data.

ژیلا بنی‌یعقوب، روزنامه‌نگار، وبلاگ‌نویس و فعال حقوق زنان، جایزه سازمان گزارشگران بدون مرز سال ۲۰۱۰ با عنوان جایزه «آزادی بیان» را برای وبلاگ خود با عنوان «ما روزنامه‌نگاریم» از آن خود کرد.

مراسم اهدای این جایزه به «بهترین وبلاگ‌ها» در ماه ژوئن سال جاری در چارچوب «تریبون رسانه‌های جهانی» دویچه‌وله در شهر بن آلمان برگزار خواهد شد.

سازمان گزارشگران بدون مرز در بیانیه خود به مناسبت اهدای این جایزه می‌گوید: «ژیلا در خط مقدم تلاش برای آزادی بیان در کشور خود ایستاده است. او و خانواده‌اش تاکنون بهای سنگینی برای تعهدات او پرداخته‌اند.»

ژیلا بنی یعقوب و همسرش، بهمن احمدی عمویی در تاریخ ۳۰ خرداد ماه سال گذشته و در پی اعتراضات به نتیجه انتخابات ریاست جمهوری به همراه ده ها روزنامه نگار دیگر در تهران دستگیر شدند. وی در تاریخ دوم شهریور ماه با سپردن وثیقه آزاد شد اما همسرش که هم اکنون در مرخصی به سر می برد، به ۵ سال زندان محکوم شده است.

شرکت نفتی شل فروش بنزین به ایران را متوقف کرده است

راینر وینزنرید، یک سخنگوی شل، روز چهارشنبه (۱۰ مارس) در لاهه هلند گفت که این شرکت در حال حاضر به ایران بنزین نمی فروشد.

ایران یکی از بزرگ ترین تولید کنندگان نفت در جهان است، اما بدلیل ظرفیت پائین پالایشگاه هایش مجبور به وارد کردن حدود یک سوم بنزین مورد نیاز در این کشور است.

شرکت شل دلیل توقف فروش بنزین به ایران را اعلام نکرده است و همچنین نگفته که از چه تاریخی تصمیم به این کار گرفته است.

شل چهارمین شرکت بزرگ اروپائیست که این هفته خبر از توقف فروش بنزین به ایران می دهد.

بر اساس گزارش ها، شرکت های ویتول، گلنکور و ترافیگورا، سه شرکت بزرگ سوئیسی هم صدور بنزین به ایران را قطع کرده اند.

ناظران معتقدند که تحریم های احتمالی آمریکا علیه شرکت های صادر کننده بنزین به ایران باعث شده که این شرکت ها بدون سرو صدا فروش بنزین به ایران را متوقف کنند.

کنگره آمریکا طرح تحریم گسترده ای را علیه ایران در دست بررسی دارد.

این طرح در صورت تصویب، برای اولین بار تامین کنندگان خارجی بنزین ایران را مشمول تحریم های آمریکا خواهد کرد.

ایران این تحریم ها را ناعادلانه می داند و می گوید که بر خط مشی اتمی این کشور اثری ندارد.

گفته می شود که شرکت های چینی حدود یک سوم بنزین وارداتی ایران را تامین می کنند.

ایران همچنین با ونزوئلا برای خرید بنزین موافقت نامه ای امضا کرده است.

فدراسيون فوتبال ايران: محروميت بازى دختران با حجاب اسلامى لغو شد

خبرگزارى هاى ايران روز يكشنبه از قول فدراسيون فوتبال اعلام كردند كه تلاش هاى اين فدراسيون به نتيجه رسيد و تيم ملى فوتبال دختران زير ۱۵ سال ايران مى تواند در بازى هاى المپيك نوجوانان سال ۲۰۱۰ در سنگاپور بازى كند.

در آغاز سال ۱۳۸۹ فدراسيون بين المللى فوتبال در پيامى به فدراسيون ايران اعلام كرده بود كه دختران زير ۱۵ سال ايران نمى توانند با حجاب اسلامى به عنوان تنها نماينده آسيا در بازى هاى المپيك نوجوانان در سنگاپور حضور يابند و تيم تايلند جايگزين ايران شده است.

پس از اين كه حسن غفارى، رييس پيشين كميته بين المللى فدراسيون فوتبال اعلام كرد كه مسوولان فدراسيون از جمله على كفاشيان رييس و فريده شجاعى، نايب رييس بخش بانوان پيش از اين از اقدام فيفا با خبر بوده و خود را به خواب خرگوشى زده اند، كفاشيان به همراه نماينده اى از كميته بين المللى فدراسيون در سفرى يك روزه به سوييس گفت و گويى با مسوولان فوتبال جهان داشت تا اين محروميت لغو و نوجوانان دختر ايران شانس حضور در سنگاپور را بيابند.

فدراسيون فوتبال همچنين فيلم و تصاويرى از پوشش جديد فوتبال بانوان و سربند آنان را به فيفا ارائه داد.

خبرگزارى دانشجويان ايران، ايسنا، با انتشار خبر لغو اين تصميم يادآور شده است: «حذف تيم ملى بانوان زير ۱۵ سال ايران از رقابت هاى المپيك سنگاپور در حالى اتفاق افتاد كه تيم ملى زير ۱۵ سال ايران هم از سوى كميته برگزارى رقابت‌ها انتخاب نشد و تيم ملى نوجوانان سنگاپور (و نه تايلند) براى اين رقابت ها از سوى فيفا به دليل ميزبانى انتخاب شد.»

عباس ترابيان، رييس كميته روابط بين الملل فدراسيون فوتبال در در اعلام خبر رفع محروميت دختران محجبه فوتباليست ايران اظهار كرد: «فيفا در نامه اى به على كفاشيان، رييس فدراسيون فوتبال درباره بازى هاى المپيك سنگاپور نوشته است كه بازگشت به مذاكرات و ملاقاتى كه در ۱۴ آوريل ۲۰۱۰ با هيئت ايرانى داشته است و توضيحات لازم ارائه شده است، اگر كلاهى باشد كه بتواند با توجه به قوانين بازى مجموعه موى سر را پوشش دهد و دختران فوتباليست بتوانند از آن استفاده كنند، حضور دختران ايران در رقابت هاى المپيك ۲۰۱۰ سنگاپور بلامانع است.»

فدراسيون فوتبال ايران در اعلاميه خود گفته است كه بايد ديد كميته برگزارى پس از گزينش تايلند به جاى ايران، در شرايط تازه به وجود آمده چه راه حلى را در برنامه خواهد داشت.

If your skin is sensitive rinse off the water after a few minutes. If there is no sensitivity just towel off after immersing the feet. Use white towel as other colors would get bleached by chlorine.

Shahram Amiri chose to become US citizen over becoming Haji
Iran nuclear scientist Shahram Amiri 'defects to US'

Shahram Amiri had been resettled in the US and was helping the CIA in its efforts to block Iran's nuclear progrme. Amiri disappeared in Saudi Arabia while on a Muslim pilgrimage.

Iran accused the US of abducting him but Washington denied any knowledge of the scientist. The CIA has declined to comment on the latest report.

Amiri worked as a researcher at Tehran's Malek Ashtar University, according to Iran's state-run Press TV channel. However, some reports said he had also been employed by Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation, and had wanted to seek asylum abroad.

Obama and Medvedev cut nuclear arsenals, warn Iran
US President Barack Obama and Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev signed a landmark treaty Thursday committing to major nuclear arms cuts, while also warning Iran to expect sanctions over its nuclear drive.

The treaty was signed in a key year for anti-proliferation efforts with the international community struggling to persuade North Korea to disarm and to counter Iran's nuclear drive.

The two presidents warned Iran to expect sanctions if it maintains its refusal to halt uranium enrichment and cooperate with UN atomic watchdog inspectors amid Western suspicions that it is seeking a bomb.

Obama called for "smart" and "strong" sanctions by the United Nations, which in May will hold a review conference on the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Medvedev said: "Unfortunately Tehran is not reacting to an array of constructive compromise proposals. We cannot close our eyes to this."

"I have said many times that sanctions very often do not work, but sometimes they are necessary... These need to be smart sanctions, capable of prompting the right behaviour," Medvedev said.

US to 'ratchet up' Iran pressure over nuclear plans
In an hour-long phone call with Chinese President Hu Jintao , Obama had stressed "the importance of working together to ensure that Iran lives up to its international obligations", the White House said.

International sanctions would not prevent Iran from pursuing its nuclear activities, he said.

Chinese officials have not commented after the talks.

China's foreign minister has said he still hopes the nuclear issue can be resolved through negotiations. However, the US ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice, said China had indicated it was ready to hold "serious" talks with Western powers on a new UN resolution.

UN Sanction
Envoys from Russia, Britain, China, France, and the United States -- the five veto-holding members of the UN Security Council -- plus Germany met on April 8 in New York to discuss a possible fourth round of sanctions against Tehran for failing to halt uranium enrichment activities that the United States and its allies fear could be diverted toward production of a nuclear weapon.

Obama Administration Unveils New Nuclear Weapons Policy
The Obama administration unveiled a new nuclear weapons policy that is meant to narrow the circumstances in which the U.S. would use nuclear weapons as well as address a variety of other issues dealing with nuclear weapons.

Under the new policy the U.S. will not use or threaten to use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear weapons states that are party to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. These states must also be in compliance with their nuclear nonproliferation obligations.

In addition, the U.S. would only consider the use of nuclear weapons in extreme circumstances to defend the interests of the U.S. or its allies and partners.

How about Israel?
Israel's Prime Minister called off his trip to Washington to attend a conference on the spread of nuclear weapons, officials in his office said, fearing Israel would be singled out over its own nuclear program.

Benjamin Netanyahu had said he would attend the conference to underline the dangers of terrorists acquiring nuclear weapons, but suddenly called off the trip less than two days after he announced he would take part.

Officials in his office said early Friday that Netanyahu reversed himself because some nations planned to use the conference to target Israel over its barely concealed nuclear weapons program. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because no announcement has been made.

افزایش میزان طلاق و کاهش ازدواج در ایران
در حالى که در سال گذشته خورشیدى میزان طلاق در ایران در مقایسه با سال پیش از آن بیش از دو درصد افزایش را شاهد بوده است، در مدت مشابه میزان ازدواج‌هاى ثبت شده بیش از دو درصد کاهش یافته است.

بر اساس آخرین آمارهاى منتشر شده توسط سازمان ثبت احوال ایران سال ۱۳۸۸ در مقابل هر ۱۰۰ ازدواج صورت گرفته در کشور ۱۴ مورد طلاق روى داده است.

بر اساس این آمار که مربوط به ۱۱ ماه از سال گذشته است، میزان طلاق‌هاى ثبت شده در ایران ۱۱۴ هزار و ۶۷۴ مورد بوده است که نسبت به مدت مشابه در سال پیش از آن دو ممیز ۱۳ دهم درصد افزایش را نشان مى‌دهد.

همچنین ۸۵ درصد کل طلاق‌هاى صورت گرفته در ایران در مناطق شهرى و ۱۵ درصد دیگر در مناطق روستایى کشور روى داده است.

در این میان استان تهران با ۳۱ هزار و ۴۴۹ مورد طلاق از این نظر در کشور پیشتاز بوده است و در رده‌هاى بعدى استان خراسان رضوى با ۱۱ هزار و ۳۸۴ مورد و استان اصفهان با ۶۶۴۵ مورد طلاق در رده‌هاى بعدى قرار دارند.

استان‌ خراسان جنوبى با ۵۴۴، استان کهکیلویه و بویراحمد با ۶۱۸ و استان چهارمحال و بختیارى با ۷۸۹ مورد طلاق کمترین میزان طلاق در ایران را در سال گذشته خورشیدى به خود اختصاص داده‌اند.

همچنین بر اساس آمارهاى سازمان ثبت احوال ایران، تنها در استان خراسان جنوبى میزان طلاق نسبت به سال ۱۳۸۷ کاهش داشته است که کاهش حدود چهار درصد بوده است.

بقیه استان‌هاى ایران با افزایش میزان طلاق روبرو بوده‌اند که در این میان بیشترین میزان افزایش طلاق با هفت ممیز ۳۶ دهم درصد به استان یزد مربوط مى‌شود. استان چهارمحال ‌و بختیارى نیز با افزایش شش ممیز ۳۲ دهم درصد از این نظر در رده دوم قرار دارد.

بیشتر طلاق‌هاى صورت گرفته در ایران مربوط به گروه سنى ۲۵ تا ۲۹ سال است. همچنین در سال گذشته خورشیدى سه هزار و ۹۱۷ مرد بالا ۶۰ سال همسران خود را طلاق داده‌اند.

افزایش میزان طلاق در حالى است که در سال گذشته خورشیدى از میزان ازدواج نیز کاسته شده است.

بر اساس آمارهاى سازمان ثبت احوال در یازده ماه سال گذشته خورشیدى ۸۰۴ هزار و ۶۲۸ ازدواج در ایران به ثبت رسیده است که این میزان نسبت به سال پیش از آن دو و نیم درصد کاهش داشته است.

آیا تغییر موضع رفسنجانى دستاوردی خواهد داشت؟

به نظر مى رسد كه هاشمى رفسنجانى در نهايت به نفع جناح تندرو حكومت ايران موضع گيرى مى كند. آيا اين پايان كار جنبش سبز است و يا صرفا نقطه آغازى براى اين جنبش؟

عكس هايى كه در رسانه هاى دولتى ايران منتشر شد نشان مى داد كه على خامنه اى و هاشمى رفسنجانى با نگاهى دوستانه در كنار يكديگر نشسته اند.

جنيو عبدو از كارشناسان سياست ايران و مدير مطالعات ايران در مركز پژوهشى Century در مطلبى در مجله «فارين پاليسى» چاپ واشنگتن، به تازه ترين موضع گيرى هاى هاشمى رفسنجانى پرداخته و آن را به نوعى اعلام موضع نهايى اين سياستمدار موثر و با نفوذ ايران در بحران سياسى ماه هاى اخير مى داند.

به نوشته فارین پالسی، هاشمى رفسنجانی همواره در صفوف محافظه كاران معتدل نظام اسلامى بوده هر چند كه با گروه حامى محمود احمدى نژاد و سپاه پاسداران كه در سال هاى اخير سلطه آنها رو به افزايش بوده مخالف است. در ماه هاى پس از انتنخابات بخش هايى از محافظه كاران معتدل نيز با حمايت فزاينده آيت الله خامنه اى از جناح تندرو مخالف بودند و اكنون بازگشت هاشمى رفسنجانی به دايره حاميان رهبر مى تواند نقش مهمى ايفا كند.

تحليلگر «فارين پاليسى» مى افزايد در مقابل اعلام حمايت رفسنجانى از رهبرى نظام به نظر مى رسد كه آيت الله خامنه اى به وى اختيار داده كه با تصويب مقررات جديدى كميسيون ملى انتخابات را براى اصلاح سيستم راى گيرى داير كند. اين موضوع يكى از محورهاى مهم در بطن بحران سياسى فعلى ايران است. اين كميسيون صلاحيت نامزدهاى انتخاباتى را تعيين خواهد كرد و قرار است كه مجمع تشخيص مصلحت اعضاى اين كميسيون را تعيين كند.

به اعتقاد جنيو عبدو، اين تحول تا حد زيادى از قدرت شوراى نگهبان كه اكثر اعضاى آن توسط رهبرى انتصاب مى شوند خواهد كاست. شوراى نگهبان در طول تاريخ انتخابات ايران مسئول رد صلاحيت هاى اصلاح طلبان بوده و در انتخابات رياست جمهورى اخير نيز به جانبدارى از محمود احمدى نژاد متهم شده بود. از اين پس قرار است كه اين مسئوليت ها به كميسيون ملى انتخابات سپرده شود.

اين تغيير ممكن است به كاهش نفوذ برخى چهره هاى تندرو و محافظه كار منجر شود و از خصلت تماميت خواهانه سيستم انتخاباتى ايران بكاهد ولى بعيد است بتواند مخالفت و اعتراض هاى موجود در جامعه ايران را خنثى كند. اگر آيت الله خامنه اى در روزهاى پس از انتخابات چنين تصميمى مى گرفت شايد تاثير آن متفاوت بود. اما اكنون بسيارى از مخالفان خواسته هاى بسيار وسيعترى دارند كه يكى از آنها بركنارى محمود احمدى نژاد است.

نويسنده در پايان نتيجه مى گيرد كه هاشمى رفسنجانى از اين پس ناگزير خواهد بود به شكل چشمگيرى از انتقادات خود از محمود احمدى نژاد و رهبر ايران بكاهد. در مقابل بعيد است كه اين كميسيون ملى انتخابات بتواند در آينده نزديك زمينه برگزارى انتخابات نسبتا آزاد را در ايران فراهم كند. در حالى كه خامنه اى از حمايت رفسنجانى بهره مند مى شوند هيچ معلوم نيست كه آيا اين معامله براى خود رفسنجانى دستاوردى خواهد داشت يا نه؟

محرومیت دختران فوتبال ایران از بازی با حجاب

فدراسیون بین‌المللی فوتبال در نامه‌ای به فدراسیون فوتبال ایران به طور رسمی اعلام کرد که تیم ملی فوتبال دختران زیر ۱۵ سال ایران با حجاب اسلامی حق بازی در المپیک نوجوانان ۲۰۱۰در سنگاپور را ندارد.

به گزارش پنجشنبه خبرگزاری دانشجویان ایران، ایسنا، فريده شجاعی، نايب رييس فدراسيون فوتبال در امور بانوان با تاييد اين خبر گفته است: «نمايندگان فيفا پيش از اين با حضور دختران با حجاب ايران در المپيک نوجوانان موافقت كرده بودند، اما دوشنبه طی نامه‌ای با شركت دختران ايران با پوشش اسلامی مخالفت كرده اند.»

فدراسیون بین‌المللی فوتبال از شش کنفدراسیون قاره‌ای زیر پوشش خود شش تیم را برای پیکار در فوتبال المپیک زیر ۱۵ سال در سنگاپور انتخاب کرده است که نوجوانان دختر ایران به عنوان تنها نمایندگان آسیا گزینش شده‌اند.

بر پایه این گزارش علی كفاشيان، رييس فدراسيون فوتبال هم سال گذشته اعلام كرده بود كه فيفا سهميه حضور يک تيم از آسيا در اين بازي‌ها را به ايران داده است.

خانم فریده شجاعی اعلام کرده است که تلاش می‌کند این مشکل را هفته آینده در ژنو، مقر فدراسیون بین المللی فیفا، با مسئولان فدراسیون حل کند تا این مانع از سر راه آنان برداشته شود. او یادآور شده است که این مقامات پوشش مذهبی ما را با پوشش ملی اشتباه گرفته‌اند و مدعی هستند که اگر به دختران اجازه بازی با اسلامی داده شود، کشورهای دیگر هم مدعی حضور با لباس سنتی خود خواهند شد.

وی گفت: «برای آنان تصاویر پوشش با حجاب اسلامی و بازی آنان با این پوشش را خواهیم برد. اما برای ما اعتقادات مذهبی در بالاترین درجه اهمیت قرار دارد و این دیدگاه برای مسئولان فدراسیون فوتبال هم صدق می‌کند.»

نایب رییس فدراسیون فوتبال گفته است: «نمايندگان فيفا حضور با حجاب تيم ايران را پذيرفته بودند ولی نمی‌دانم دوباره چه اتفاقی افتاده است كه از ما خواسته‌اند با لباس رسمی فيفا مسابقه بدهيم.»

وی افزود:: «ما می‌خواهيم عكس‌های تيم‌های ملی را با پوشش اسلامی براي فيفا ارسال كنيم تا موافقت آنها را بگيريم. ما با حجاب اسلامی در آسيا بازی كرديم و هيچ مشكلی هم نداشتيم.»

در حالی که فیفا بازی با حجاب اسلامی را ممنوع کرده و به گفته نایب رییس فدراسیون فوتبال در امور بازیکنان امکان بازی بدون حجاب نیز نیست، با این حال اردوهای تیم ملی نوجوانان از بیست و ششم فروردین ماه هنوز لغو نشده است.

فریده شجاعی با سفر بدون بازگشت الگا، مربی اوکراینی تیم نوجوانان دختر یادآور شد که مذاكره با شهرزاد مظفر سرمربی پيشين تيم ملی فوتبال بانوان ايران برای قبول هدايت تيم های ملی زير شانزده و پانزده سال در جریان است.

پس از جلوگیری از بازی یک دختر نوجوان مسلمان در کانادا و اعتراض جوامع اسلامی، فیفا اعلام کرد که به دلیل احتمال قطع ناگهانی نخاع و یا خرخره و خطر مرگ برای بازیکنی که از پشت سر روسری اش گرفته و کشیده می‌شود، این پوشش ممنوع است.
